Let's keep the 24 hour rule for the period after a winner is announced but extend the period for when a game is still going.

THE NEW RULE
If a caption winner has been chosen, and 24 hours pass without the winner posting a new picture, feel free to post a picture.  If a winner has not been chosen yet (ie; the game is still going), and 72 hours pass since the last caption post, with no word from the original picture poster, then feel free to jump in & post a new picture.
