Really good episode, love how it focussed on Lrrr, decent sub-plot with Fry's comic. Some funny stuff, and most of all felt like classic Futurama. Not trying to be big or clever, just fun and entertaining. Gotta love it when Lrrr came over to Planet Express and sleeped on the couch. Nice to see Zapp too...
9/10

Still, slightly annoying because it was overdone. Not because it was a stereotype of females. I love sexists remarks. They are funny.

The Popplers line was hilarious because of its implications. The Omicronians do not call their young Popplers, that is the food name given to them by the Earthicans. It would be like dating a sentient spacecow and saying "I want to have your veal." or dating a fish and saying "I want to have your caviar." I gave this episode an 8/10 I think it was funny to have a "furre" in Futurama. And that people make Omicronian fursuits... that's a thing?

Hey, part of Leela's personna is being a "Nagging meat-creature". It was good to see her nagging somebody other than Fry or Bender for a change.

I'm totally new here (Hello!) but no less a fan than any of you, so here's my opinion:
It really dragged on with no creative twists to the story at all. There were too many unnecessary bits to it also. For example, that girl from Comic Con who seduced Lrrr was made far too prominent for the purpose she served, which wasn't even necessary in the first place. She didn't even provide any great jokes. The best part, in my opinion, was Bender's line, "Is this him?" at the end when they're looking for Fry. I voted 5/10 because it provided a few good laughs, but didn't live up to the standards of the show.

i dont understand why you guys didnt like this as much (per the posters on page one). I thought it was great and certainly my favorite one thus far. Not every episode has to be meaningful and deep-thoughted. Thats what made the show great to begin with. Was the farnsworth parabox filler? Was parasites lost filler? To me what makes an episode great is its rewatchability. I rewatched this episode a couple times in a row and i laughed more the second and third times. Dont get me wrong i like the touching episodes but you need some fun lighthearted ones too.

I liked tht they bought Leela's "bitchy, nagging" personna back, but she didn't say a mean or irritated thing to Fry. Even at the end, his horrible comic got a smile and praise from her (It's good. Not Great.)
Seeing her giving Nnnndd the "evil" eye as she bought a frying pan from Bender was LOL material.
To me, the best lines of the show were:
Lrrr: Do I know you? Leela: I once spent five minutes in your mouth. Lrrr: Leela?
Right and wrong on so many levels...

She was prominent because she was a guest actress. Specifically voiced by Katee Sackhoff. Despite that, I agree with you. Sergio Aragonés' guest appearance was much better.

Here's a goof that I spotted while watching the episode: Lrrr and Ndnd were watching TV from 3010 on Omicron Persei 8, yet Omicron Persei 8 is 1000 light years away, so how come they weren't watching TV from 2010? Maybe Signal Strength has improved since 3000.
It is explained in the commentary of "When Aliens Attack": DXC: This actually brings up an interesting question. We have the TV signal from our time take a thousand years to get to the star, but we've also explained that in the future they can travel all around the universe without violating the limiting of the speed of light, because the speed of light has been increased in the future by scientists. So, our explanation for that is that light that departed in our time is "old light", that travels at regular light speed. Light in the future, if it's sound out from a point that will travel in the new light speed, which is quadrillion of times faster.

Totally agree. This is the kind of ep I watch Futurama for. It reminded me of Season 2 in style, and that's a great thing. Fun ep with no purpose or deeper meaning other than to entertain and just be Futurama, love it!...

This episode had its funny moments, but I just didn't really care for it, largely (pun intended) because I don't really care about Lrrr or Ndnd; to me, they're just peripheral, one-dimensional characters that can provide laughs, but only when they appear briefly. Since I don't care about the characters, I don't care about their marital issues. Or maybe, their relationship is conveyed in a way that doesn't strike me as very fresh, just the overdone tripe of sitcoms dating back to The Honeymooners.
I got a kick out of Fry's comic. Leela isn't the only one who has a soft spot for his boyish charm. I've always liked his sweet and idiotic nature. My husband was just commenting how it seems like Bender is moving in a "Homer"-ic direction; i.e., he seems to becoming more sociopathic and indifferent to others' feelings (I disagree, as to me, Bender has been that way from Space Pilot 3000). It seems like the Futurama team has distilled Homer's idiocy into Fry and Homer's a**hole-ness into Bender. Of course, I love Bender, too (as a supporting character). Sorry if posters with space pope or urban legend rank have pointed that out light years ago, but I am fairly new to this forum (but not to the show).
Since we're on the topic of -ism's, the ageist humor (at the expense of the Professor) is a gift that keeps on giving.

I loved this episode, despite sort of a quick wrap up in the third act. I did like how Lrrr remembers Leela from The Power with Popplers, but they did meet in between that in Spanish Fry and they didn't acknowledge each other at all, even when Leela offered to help with his marriage to avoid Fry losing his lower horn. I guess if you avoid that episode, it's funny to see Lrrr remember Leela's name after that line. I also liked Grrrl, hopefully we'll see her in the future. Loved the Futurella joke, it's fun that the crew got to satirize themselves. "When are you going to make a simpsons 2? I felt that Orson Welles should've had more time. Maurice always likes doing his Welles impression in every show he voices for. Fry's comic was good, but I thought it would lead to a big payoff, like helping out with the story, but ends up as an ending joke. Good not great I don't know if this was intentional or not, but we all knew Fry wasn't dead from that teleporter gun, since Prof set it up in the beginning. It would've been nice if the gun was in a different color to throw us off and think that Fry was really vaporized. Seeing Grrrl show up at the end after getting zapped, was something I was expecting, rather than surprised. It would've been an awesome surprise if we thought she was an expendable character, only to learn she can come back since she has interest in Zoidberg at the end.

Anyway, why didn't he just use Google Translate? Or babelfish?
Because it would still be worse? It doesn't teach you English? Don't wanna be nagging (see discussion on previous page) but I take it that even on French keyboards they have caps lock/shift key?
The French keyboard layout is the most unintuitive layout I have ever seen on a keyboard. Hey, Frenchies, stop trying to live up to the stereotypes that the Americans give you, i.e. that you are stupid.
