The commercial in the episode invited us to come up with our own ideas for terrible things that will happen if proposition infinity was passed. Lets see if this idea has legs.

re: thread title/proposition infinity...

  • Robots will monopolize all the most desirable human females, as no human male can compete with the stamina of a literal sex machine - they have a hard enough time competing with contemporary, non-sentient vibrators.
  • Robots reach sexual maturity as early as 1 year old; how long before they're marrying your preschoolers?!

If we allow humans to marry robots, what's next, marrying TOASTERS?

...wait, no, that's the same thing.

  • Ancient robots have cod pieces. What are they hiding? Do you really want to find out?
  • Men, you think it's hard to compete with Iron Man for chicks? Just imagine competing with iron men.

Surely not every; woman, man or robot will want to have fleshy fever or metal fever with eachother; some robots will only dig other robots, some robots will dig both robots and organic life forms, (humans), some Humans will only dig other Humans etcetera. Feelings, and loving them for who they are, or what have you blah blah blah.

In general, I'm ok with the concept of robots marrying humans...but I really worry about the children and how they will act if this kind of marriage becomes "acceptable" by mainstream society. Will they teach my children about robosexuality in schools without asking for my permission?

In Massachusettes, I hear they read the robosexual-themed "children's" storybook "My Daddy Is A Literal Sex Machine" to kindergarten classes on a regular basis.
