Has anyone actually seen Fry ride a bike? I've seen him riding the professor, but no bike as far as I can remember...
Also, Broccoly reminds me of Bender in Overclockwise

Yesterday in my math class we had a test that was fairly easy. So, this morning, when I went into my math class, my teacher had put a picture on the board of the 'Fry not sure if X or Y' meme that said 'Not sure if math test was really easy or I did everything wrong'. Wow, I think I have the coolest math teacher ever.

Last night I received a hilariously-worded email from my college's security office about a not-so-hilarious (though redundant) "robbery/theft incident" in which a girl's "cellular telephone" was stolen. I of course wondered if the item in question was anything like a cellphone telephone.

Today in my film class, our teacher was discussing how inescapable advertising is in our everyday lives; he said that the only way to avoid ads is "by sleeping...though I'm sure they'll figure out a way to make commercials play inside our eyelids some day soon." And I had to smile, as I was reminded of the product placement Fry must contend with in his dreams in "A Fishful of Dollars."

While going through some files of past exhibitions at the museum where I currently intern, I came across an exhibit from 1957 that was courtesy of one Chase Manhattan Bank. If Zoidberg had been around back then I imagine he would have been denied admission, and later if a guinea pig ever tricked him into becoming a giant, I imagine he would have done some retaliatory building-smashing about it.

Doesn't matter what they say, you can never be more ugly than that huge monster from Benderama:)
Also... I'm sure you're not ugly, and it's what YOU think not anyone else^^

Heh, well done, Tachy.
Anyway, I have another Futurama-reminder that is slightly more legitimate than my previous one: My brother's prom was last night, and he apparently informed our father that the only song he danced to was "The Safety Dance." My dad, unfamiliar with that little ditty, asked me how it went. I, of course, provided him with That Guy's rendition from "Future Stock."

Similarly-caused Futurama reminders continue! Today I was going through the database of bird collections and passed by the yellow-headed blackbird, Xanthocephalus xanthocephalus; I of course thought of Xanthor (though, truth be told, I sooner was reminded of a certain PEELer). Shortly afterwards, I also saw an entry for a Sturnus vulgaris, or a starling of "Parasites Lost" fame. What a day this was!

There is a new song out on the radio (no clue who it is or what the name is) that my husband and I heard over the weekend and it has a section that sounds just like the music used in the original run whenever Bender goes into a strip club. I'll keep an ear out because it's bound to come on once every hour or so if it's a popular song.

And again! The preparator was taking me through the wild green gray yonder of old records, and when he was showing me one of the museum's oldest ledgers, I saw an entry from 1924 documenting the acquisition of the skull of a "loyal capybara, king of the rats." That wasn't how it was actually written, but that's how I read it.Now I'm going to be thinking that Xanfor is not only a Cardinal, he's a blackbird. It starts out with a person being only a couple of birds, but before you know it, he's a whole flock. What have you begun, Ted? What have you begun?
Don't forget his true form.
