What I don't understand is why someone doesn't ask what the 'celebraty guests' on the show think of this blatent act. In fact..
I think it be pretty cool if someone got a like interview together of all the guest stars that have appeared on the show and ask there opinions on Fox's treatment of the show.. it have to be a third party that initiates the interviews as if anyone at Fox did it, they'd probly be fired.

Well I thought it was a good Idea and Teral second the thought so, I'll post in a new thread.
Does anyone out there know how, or know someone how does know how to set this up? Or even pass the idea on to the appropriate people? If So I humbly request that they do so!
Celebs (no matter how unfair I think it may be) have a bit of push when they state their opinions, and if they were to talk about how they liked the show and how they were 'disappointed' whith Fox's treatment of the show, maybe something could actualy be done!
Please Help!

Famous celebrity Matt Groening(creator of The Simpsons) has gone on record to say that he is not pleased with Futurama being cancelled. Likewise, voiceover superstars Billy West and Phil Lamarr have spoken out against it. But FOX just won't listen.

Well Doi! They work there!, I'm talking about the GuestStars, Hell even stars that haven't been on the show! Peeps, that aren't tied to Fox! Peeps, With pull in the industry, I can't say who becuase I don't pay much attention to the Entertainment industry ..   :p
I'll bet Fox'll listen if abunch of famous well known stars from movies and TV alike Spoke up! But they'd obviously have to be non-regulars of Futurama, becuase then Fox would just pass it off as the crew trying to save their asses!
Beleive me Fox'll listen if the mistreatment of the show is brought into the light of the media(that is if there really are people out there that care  :p )
And if you were serious, stop being such a pessimist.   :p   :laff:

wait, who was being serious?

no offense in any way, but if we knew famous people we would be out in hollywood hanging with them, not sitting online all day.  Also, celebs don't exactly have the pull you are thinking they do.  Sitcoms STARRING famous actors get cancelled all the time, and I'm sure it's not for lack of actor support.  Fox doesn't care about fans, or guest stars, or Matt G... just ratings

First off I didn't say go find famous people. I said see if you could hint at or pass on the idea of said interview, to ,.. err a newspaper or broadcasting CO. or something..

Did you ever think that maybe the reason the company cancelling it dosen't consider the STARRING actors, becuase they work there and thus are bias to the production? Thats why I said guest stars and even stars that have no ties to the show, other than watching it on TV(if they do).

I honestly didn't mean to upset you, but just give you some explanations for why you haven't gotten an overwhelming response.  If this works out for you, believe me, no one will be happier than me.

I have no idea where to start, maybe Sarge would but I haven't seen him posting here for a while.
I supose you could contact the agents of all the guest stars and ask them nicely to put the idea across, or write fan mail to the agents in the hope that the stars actually read them. Then if you get a favourable response the stars involved would be the perfect resource to get it produced and aired. The agents of stars may have websites, so a Google search for 'agent' and '[insert name of star]' would be a place to start. First things first though, you would have to compile a complete list of the guest stars from the show.
If you want to give that a go and manage to succeed then you will be my hero.

The title of this thread reminded me of Zero Wing and the goofy translation.

"Somebody set us up the bomb."

Anyway, it's a decent idea but one that would be difficult to implement. I have a book of talent agency contacts for celebs, but what would you say to them?

"Will your client issue a press release saying that they like Futurama?"

Matt Groening and David X. Cohen have gone on record with their disdain for Fox's meddling with the show, and that had no effect whatsoever. If there's anyone that can change opinions at Fox it's those two.

I am a determined person.  ;)
Email me the list.
Im not sure How I'm going to word it yet so Any help on that would be cool too. But I do know I don't simply want a press release about it. Best scenario would be the guest stars together in a 'group interview'.

I will have to disagree. One thing Ive noticed in history is that its not just one or two people that do wonders. They may start it, but its mass numbers that finish the job. If enough stars show there disdain for Fox, it'll seep into the public and hopfully get Fox's attention.

As long as Fox is run by money, there is a slim chance in accomplishing this. They should be worth more of the share when banded together.

Quality work there, Bart.
But is that list accurate?
i.e - Did Leonard Nimoy, and a couple of others, really lend theirs voices when they were on screen? Or were they just impersonated?
