Fry is put on trial for his life for traveling to the forbidden planet of Omega 3 to retrieve all 79 episodes of "Star Trek", and he must defend the claim that human kind needs "Star Trek" to give them hope for the future. In the 23rd Century, "Star Trek" fans had evolved to such a level that they corrupted the world's governments and all things "Star Trek" were then banned to Omega 3. Fry sets out on his mission with Leela, Bender and Leonard Nimoy's head in a jar, only to discover William Shatner, Nichelle Nichols, George Takei and Walter Koening are living on Omega 3 under the watchful eye of Melvar, an evil energy creature -- and "Star Trek's" biggest fan -- on the FUTURAMA season finale episode "Where No Fan Has Gone Before" Sunday, April 21 (7:00-7:30 PM ET/PT) on FOX. (FUT-411) (TV-PG)
Voice Cast: Billy West as Fry, Professor Farnsworth, Zapp Brannigan and Dr. Zoidberg; Katey Sagal as Leela; John DiMaggio as Bender; Phil LaMarr as Hermes, Lauren Tom as Amy; Maurice LaMarche as Melvar.
Guest Voice Cast: William Shatner as himself; Leonard Nimoy as himself; Walter Koening as himself; George Takei as himself and Nichelle Nichols as herself.

Originally posted by Delta-V: DS9 started out good, kinda got weak in the middle, but the last season or two was good. TNG started out weak, but was excellent from about season 4 on. I thought Voyager was hit or miss...some episodes were very good, some very bad. Enterprise seems to be starting out better than any of them. I disagree with each of those statements. But this is a discussion for the Star Trek thread, however deep it's buried
