There's a promo picture for the above episode showing Leela and Kirk facing off here:

 http://www.cinescape.com/0/editorial.asp?aff_id=0&this_cat=Television&action=page&type_id=&cat_id=270355&obj_id=33969#

I can't wait for this episode, being a Trekkie. The two month wait for it to be shown in the UK is going to kill me!!

That's the one I saw in Entertainment Weekly!  Thanks for the link Skoot!

And what's all this about Shatner hosting "Iron Chef"?  I've never seen him on there.

That sounds pretty cool, Otis, the original series of Star Trek is on BBC2 Sundays at 12:00 so you can start watching it so you appreciate all the gags when you see the Futurama episode.

That might not be Shatner. Isn't he supposed to be guest starring as his head in a jar? This is probably some Trekkie nerd dressed like Kirk.

Nope, that's all Shatner my friend.  They play more than just decapitated heads.  If anyone wants more info you can email me and I'll tell you about the plot from what I heard via a fellow Futurama fan who  has another message board and got a animatic script of the episode.  ;)

Arr, matey, be there more to sex than crotch-interactivity. I imagine they be givin' each other lots of "tongue luck." That be sex too.

And ass is only sexy on a babe, laddie, be they male or female. Is MY ass sexy? (Presses hairy, pimply bare arse against window, farts.) I thought not. Yarrr, I'm...not attractive.

I think that TOS is the most well known series, so that's why they chose it.  I'm glad they did too, I know nothing about the other series.

Hehe yeah. I wonder how Futurama will portray Fat-Boy-Shatner. An early 'Family Guy' had him attending an Oktoberfest with Peter Griffin and doing loads of wierd exaggerated moves all over the place. Very, very funny.

DS9 ruled, TNG was great, TOS was okay, V'ger should've been killed after two seasons. (and yes, nice avatar Erdrik)

Thanks for the link, Skoot.

Hopefully Leela's gonna kick his ass. This sounds like a great episode after all.

Well, saying that V'ger was a better show than DS9, equates to putting "That's Lobstertainment" ahead of "Luck Of The Fryish". But otherwise, I'm happy.

Cool pic, it's nifty to see Captain Kirk on the show, since Matt Groening once referred to Zapp Brannigan as having a bit of Kirk in him. It's crummy that the season's over so soon, but it's been nice having lots of new episodes in a row.

Star Trek V was one triple-breasted cat-chick better than Star Trek I. Which is not much of a compliment.
