A bit meh. I think it will probably pick up a little bit next week. After all, the end of July is a pretty busy part of the month for some people. At least around my way.

Awesome. But that may just be due to the amount of Adventure Time fans that wanted to tune in. Too bad they were all disappointed.

Maybe all the FG fans will tune in next week to see Seth, and the show can suddenly get 2 million viewers again, ha!

Doubt it. Barely any FG fan knows about Seth playing Seymour for that one little quote. In fact, I don't think there is FG fans. Unless of course, they pull off another one of those picture things like what they did with the Finn and Jake cameo.

Most people are aware about it. http://insidetv.ew.com/2013/06/19/futurama-seth-macfarlane/And FG is the highest rated thing on Animation Domination, I'm sad to say. It's also 7th overall with ad exec's, which is a huge deal. And why that crap won't die. And it's re-runs are usually the highest rated crap on cable next to Big Bang. Anyway Seth is passable, but FG is total garbage.

I was inferring that everybody who watches Family Guy are too stupid to form their own fanbase. I haven't ever heard of any. I've heard of some fans, but most definitely not a fanbase. I mean maybe we'll get like 100 more viewers when compared to the season's average. Not alot of people are huge "seth fans".

I beg to differ. I've met the diehard Seth/FG fans on other fourms. They scare me with their insanity. It has a huge teenage cult following I've been told time and time again by these same insane FG fans on various fourms. The high ratings suggest this must be true, that or it's old dumb people.

I like American Dad a lot, and Family Guy is okay, but I do love Seth.

Hey, at least Futurama has been doing good on iTunes this week.
I kinda see a pattern with this;
When we get good ratings, we don't have so many iTunes purchases.
When we have bad ratings, we get alot of iTunes purchases.

Nobody will want to renew the show now. An old rerun of ATHF kicks the shows ass! Hell, a cheap old Squidbillies and a 20 year old episode of FULL HOSUE does better. CC is justified in canceling anything with this awful of an rating for the price it costs to make. AQUA TEEN HUNGERFORCE ADSM 12:30 AM 1.545 0.8 SQUIDBILLIES ADSM 12:45 AM 1.310 0.7 FULL HOUSE NAN 10:00 PM 1.963 0.6 Futurama CMDY 10:00 PM 1.040 0.5 More 18-34 year olds would rather watch a 20 year episode of 'Full House' than Fry and Bender according to that 0.6! FUCK, FUTRURMA HAS NO RATINGS FOR ITS HIGH PRODUCTION COST! Sadly, that show's the reason I couldn't catch last night's episode. Some of my friends wanted to watch it instead of futurama...some friends they are...
I would've just punched them in the face and watched Futurama.

MuchAdo, there isn't any chance of CC deciding to renew it now. We had a whole season to try and prove ourselves. And it's all up to 7A standards. Two episodes isn't going to make a difference with anything.

200 episodes seems like too much in my opinion. I think I'm happy with 140.
180 would also be a good number, but anything past that seems like a big no-no in my mind.

We should probably rename this thread given the current ratings.
That is sadly so damn ture. Bravissimo Beamer, I concur.

Not sure if a whole lot of weight should be put on the rating of the 1st broadcast of an episode. The same episode was broadcast again at 12AM the same night and will likely be the follow up episode to next weeks new episode. I may be show one or two times in the meantime as well.
It seems to me to be a bit of old thinking from the pre-cable, pre multi-channel days. All the showings add advertising revenue to the kitty. It's not like the Fox days when an episode was seen once and maybe one or two times in a year and that was it until Adult Swim picked it up.
The premiere episode ratings may determine the price per second or what ever, but it may not reflect how much total revenue the episode makes in whatever they call a "season" these days.

Matt and DXC have always wanted 200 episodes and ten seasons, if you listen to the old stuff.
If they were to do three more seasons of 26 episodes, pushing the number of seasons to 10, there would but a total number of 218 episodes.
