Oops, I meant to post this in the news thread. Oh well.

And I don't know, I just presumed that they're talking about the US release because it's a US outlet talking to an American and they don't specify that it isn't the US release. And as far as I know, the episodes have only aired in America so far, so it makes sense really.

Well, regarding renewal, I don't think DXC's statement contradicts anything.  He is just stating the nature of business:

COHEN: On Fox, I definitely worried about it. When you’re on a network like that, there’s a schedule for these things where they tell you if you’re picked up or not. Since we did the DVDs and are back for this strange giant order of 26, or two 13s, however you look at it, it’s been much more random and I’ve come to expect nothing anymore, neither good nor bad. I just tend to roll with whatever develops. There’s no schedule for this kind of order anymore, where “you’re picked up on a certain date or go home.” Comedy Central have 13 in the bank for next year. They may or may not feel the rush, but at least from our point of view, we do need more than a year of lead-time to get our operation up and running. If they do want more, we would like to hear soon. I’m just happy we got to do these, and because it’s so much work, I try to look at it this way, if we don’t do more, I get a nice little break.

Seems pretty mundane to me, what he describes.  The interview certainly had been done at an earlier date.  Like you said, not sure when.  He may respect the gag order a lot more, but yeah, 'we would like to hear from them', seems to me he is stating outright, there is no word from CC or Fox.

Though, it could also be that is just what he is supposed to say to the public, until they get the deal in.

I don't know.  I wouldn't let this pass as a confirmation for one thing or the other.

I'm assuming the DVD set will be released in the US as well (although I think the original four volumes were released in R2 first). I don't mind them dividing up the 26-episode order into two DVD sets, mainly because I get my commentaries sooner, and I freaking live for Futurama commentaries.

well,  i guess i was right that the mutants get to be on the surface now. i posted a couple times about how could leela come back without the other mutants, and people gave escuses for it. so now we got a year (or like 3 months?) to wonder what it'll be like having all those mutants around now.

Maybe 6ACV25 concerns the Brainspawn, since it's the "de-facto finale" episode. DXC said that the FxL ship plays an important part in the episode, so if my wild guess is correct, and it it does involve the Brainspawn, then maybe it also involves her status in Nibblonian prophecy as "The Other."

If not, they're probably saving that stuff for the grand-finale theatrical feature film that DXC keeps saying he wants to make...

Send it to FM. They may already have it in their fanfic section, but not in that form.

And I could always run an eye over it before you publish it, if you feel so inclined. Some fresh eyes might pic up errors the creator misses. Happens to me all the time.

Also, I want to see LaBarbara, tired of being an housewife, being hired to Mom's company and Hermes soulding coose between his wife and his work.
 
My another idea, which is the greatest:
Leela is drunk and begins a strip tease which is filmed by Bender, he posts it on his eyePhone and Fry seeing that, realizes that Leela is not his kind of girl, he falls in love with Amy but as she is Kif's Fonfon Ru, he must fight Kif in an Amphibioan ritual which involves spidersweb. At the end, Amy will choose Kif because of his grade, and Fry, sad will try to get an higher grade to Farnsworth, who will answer "No!". That is funny.

yeah, those were bad ideas, i was joking.
My greatest idea is:
Hermes and Amy make a delivery, while Bender is smoking a cigar. But because of Bender, the Planet Express Headquarters are burned, everyone die, except Bender who is in titanium, Fry and Leela who were at Leela's home (for unknown reasons), Hermes and Amy who were making a delivery, and Scruffy and the Prof. who were in China to climb the great mural. In conclusion, only Zoidberg is killed, everyone is happy, but the company haven't any building, so they are hired in Mom's friendly company but Walt, who wanted to kill Igner, is discovered by the Prof. Mom fired his son, but he discovered that Zoidberg isn't dead and know some things that Mom doesn't know (the prof wears still diapers).
Suspense and a great story with humor, ultimate idea.

The movies aren't unnumbered, they all have the production numbers at the end of the credits just like the episodes (except they each have four instead of one).
