The terrorists hit the wrong target while on their "Route of All Evil" on September 11th, Fox headquartes is where they should have been heading.

Wait, I thought that "Where No Fan Has Gone Before" was the season finale.

Corrosively coherently curious personality abrasive expired bought bandwagon Devils Yes that is correct, if it was shown on May 5th like it was originally meant to then we would have had some more episodes in between "30% Iron Chef" and the finale. "The Rote of All Evil" would have been the only production Season 3 episode left, so it would have made sense for it to have aired in that gap.

I know that The Simpsons ends later sometime in May, it also started earlier.

Screw the Fox Corperation. They ruin everthing they run. They take the best shows and beat them to death. They take their best new and upcoming shows and SCREW them. Then they buy the Los Angeles Dodgers and procced to run them into the ground. Fox....(i wont contine)

I think Homerjay has a good point, I'm thinking the same thing. I think Fox may have just realised they could milk a sixth season out of the holdovers, hence the sudden change of heart causing an early finale.

I suppose in retrospect we get to see at least 12 eps.
Personally I don't see what all this anger and swearing is gonna accomplish, if a Fox Exec looks on the board and sees all this, then it's gonna do the show more harm than good, not that it seems to have a future, but one can always live in hope.

Up until now the newest episode of Futurama to have aired is 4ACV3 "Love & Rocket", it seems absurd to jump all the way to 4ACV11 "Where no Fan Has Gone Before".

A Thought occurs.
April 12 is a Friday (this one) and not Sunday which is bizarre even for Fox.
Do you mean the 14th April or 12th May which are Sundays?
Or is this a belated April Fool?

What has politeness ever accomplished? Nothing, that's what. It's not like FOX execs would read this board and say "wow, these internet nerds aren't cussing at our stupidity. What a polite bunch...you know, maybe we should renew that show". We are whiney internet nerds, you have to give us some time to vent our anger. On that note, fuck FOX. What are they going to do? 16 episodes seems like too many for next season. I don't think they'll stretch it to two seasons, 8 episodes per season is ridiculous even for FOX.

Nothing fux does surprises me anymore, I think it will be stretched out for at least another 2 seasons, there is no way I can see fux showing 16 episodes in 1 season, they will probably never show the last episode so Futurama will never be released from its contract to fux

lol futurama will forever be on because "fox" never shows the last episode. that would be funny. and very cool.

12 episodes!? What the hell is Fox's problem!?? I was hoping for a nice long season 4. How many episodes from season 3 still haven't been shown? The thing that really annoys me is the fact that the episodes for seson 4 are all out of order anyway! I was looking forward to new stuff happening after "Love and the Rocket" but then i found out that "Leela's homeworld" and other later seson 4 episodes were made before "Love and the Rocket"
So i'll ask again, what is Fox's problem?

Theres quite a bit of this ^^^ in this thread and my reply would be 'probably not'. Like I said in threads-elsewhere I don't think FOX pays any attention to fan opinion, good or bad. Conspiracy TheoryFOX puts Futurama in a 7pm timeslot because they reckon KoTH, Simpsons et al are better audience draws for peak-time viewing. Futurama then gets pre-empted so many times during Nov/Dec/Jan that the schedulers realise that they have a huge batch of unseen eps. They get out their calculators (or their secrataries with calculators) and work out that by the end of the 'season' (Apr/May) they will still have around 16 eps left. Assuming they schedule Futurama in the same timeslot next season they can expect a healthy amount of 'pre-empting' and therefore make what they have left last a full season. Just a theory... But it does hinge on FOX schedulers being allowed to play with the company brain cell. Wiggles
