It's only really awful when Michelle or Pauly Shore is talking. Some of the things Fry does are still pretty good.

Michelle: "You expect me to live in a tiny little hole?"

Fry: "It'd be deeper, but I'm standing on a gopher."

I remember the first time I saw Cryonic Woman, I thought "when we get back to the hole, we're going to have a long, boring talk about our relationship" was so true to life, and, even though I'd never actually been in a relationship at that point, I figured I would never want to have long, boring talks. But then when I was, I realised you really do need to have long, boring talks. Life's been pretty much downhill from there.

But I don't mind that episode. I never really thought of it as 'bad'. In fact, I don't think I find much fault with any episodes from the first seasons. Maybe just because I saw them all when they were first on TV, so it's all a trip down memory lane for me. I know I still don't feel that connected (hah) to Devil's Hands, because I didn't get to see it until I got the dvds.

I didn't mind that episode....but I didn't like the ending too much. I loved the beginning tho. haha.
Anyways, I'm just watching random Futurama episodes in no particular order on my own time. I recently watched, 'I Second that Emotion.' It's one of my favorites.

Fry: "AHHHHHH!!"
Leela: "What??!"
Fry: "I burnt my finger."

The ending of "The Cryonic Woman" is kind of annoying. Fellow PEELer soylentOrange wrote this fic about what might've happened after Fry was dumped from the PE ship at the end of the episode.

And Maz, I don't really think of any episode as so bad that I can't bear to watch it. There are episodes whose plots just don't amuse me, where the great gags are buried between boring boring boring moments ("That's Lobstertainment!", "Where the Buggalo Roam", and "A Pharaoh to Remember" are probably the three "worst" episodes, in my mind. Oh, and "Bender's Game"), but I still appreciate every episode and can see some quality there that redeems the less-awesome episodes. It's probably because we have so few episodes available that I can't afford to hate on too many of them and restrict them from viewing by my oh-so-sophisticated eyes.
