Yeah maybe we missed a lot of jokes because of all the baseball references.

I though the episode was OK, not great though. C

I have no interest in sports and thus I didn't like this episode much. I did like Leela's bad acting, and though Leela's voice sounded cute. Did anyone else notice that Zoidy didn't have a single line in this ep.?

But the fact of the matter is that a good episode should be funny regardless of whether you get the references or not. I mean I've never seen an episode of Star Trek and yet I loved "Where No Fan Has Gone Before". I've never watched a game of baseball and yet I loved the Simpsons episodes "Dancing Homer" and "Homer At The Bat". This episode, on the other hand, just didn't cut it. I don't see how you need to be a major baseball fan to 'get' the joke of men being smacked in the face with a baseball.

8/10

I liked this one. Although the Leela hitting people with a baseball thing is stupid, the episode had some good gags, and wasn't as bad as a few others from this season.

I'll be honest and give this one a 6/10. I like baseball, but I just didn't enjoy this episode a whole lot. It was okay, but definitely not one of my favorites.
