The clip had me laugh out loud several times... and were Matt Groening and DXC actually good voice actors or was it just me?

The clips for ep 100 looks wonderful, I'm glad they stick to making a special story for this special occassion. And as Gorky said, I'm glad they're finally dealing with what they're dealing with.

Btw.

I'd say that refers to the current crew rather than the company.

Here's an... "interesting" image from Bongo. I guess ComicCon 3010 still has the cosplayers.

EDIT: For those of you in Australia that aren't downloading episodes and are expecting to watch the show when it airs on Ten, word is they're launching a new channel "Eleven" next year, which will have the new episodes. If you don't have digital yet, you won't see it.

I think the Bender-Leela pic is a joke and not from the actual episode.

As for it being the current crew's 100th, it's more plausible, but still only ten deliveries a year. Okay if they make the joke about there only being about four deliveries a year on screen. :P

Well, there were no deliveries between Devil's Hands and Big Score, so it's a little more for the other years and zero in between. Still a very small, non-profitable, number.

Don't forget about the pie chart of their delivery income from the shareholders' meeting in "Future Stock."

ARE THERE ANY DOUBTERS LEFT?

Yeah, okay, this isn't necessarily going to make Comedy Central more interested (since they won't see a penny of this deal), but it is going to make 20th Century Fox Television far easier to persuade.  In fact, they may even be the ones trying to persuade Comedy Central.  And if that doesn't work out, maybe even Fox?

i'm happy that the come-back is going great :) so now its almost official that we are gonna have a season 7 :) (or season 9, depend on how you count it ...) but it think that they should put the show at 8 Pm instead of 10pm, it may bring a lot more people.

they've been showing southpark at 10pm as well, and it doesn't seem to hurt it.

And lest we forget, those with satellite TV usually get the east coast feed of CC, and get to see it at 9pm in the Central timezone, 8pm Mountain and 7pm Pacific, so it's not that late an hour for those viewers. (And most Central viewers see it at 9pm anyways.)

I live in California, and since I have DirecTV, I get to watch the new Futurama at 7.

The point is, not every viewer in the 3/4 of the country west of the Eastern time zone has to wait until 10pm their time to see it. So it's not *that* bad a deal.

You may also be interested to note that Mr Lamarche has been talking about recording the DVD commentaries (for this one and others) which suggests to me that a DVD release for the 12 episodes could be out before Christmas.

I think that if they start releasing the DVDs by broadcast season and not production season, I'll die a little in inside.

Someone on another forum is claiming that Jackie Martling was on the Opie and Anthony radio show yesterday and said that "he was with Billy West recently and while he was with him, Billy received a call from Matt Groening telling him Futurama was picked up for 3 seasons".

I'm inclined to call bullshit... did any of you listen to that show or do you have access to a recorded version or anything?

There are two people who could be lying.  Well more, actually.

A. The poster could just be making shit up.  Seems most likely.

But given someone else might have heard the interview, it is also likely that...

B. Billy West was pulling a joke and the whole thing was staged.

But then why would he do that?  Maybe...

C. Matt Groening pulled a gag.

I am going with A. personally.  Because 3 seasons sounds like a stretch.  And even Billy West and/or Matt Groening would know that.

i think southpark been getting renewed for 2 or 3 seasons at a time, so this is not impossible.

i'm taking my huge can of salt with this, though.

If the 3 season thing is true, I'd imagine it'd be one production season split up again or something of that nature, so it's not entirely impossible.

Like I said, I imagine it's some sort of lie or joke taken out of context, but if anyone has access to that show on a catch up service or something, it's definitely worth checking out.

I want a source before discussing it much further, but three more seasons really would be amazing if true. I prefer one longer broadcast season to two shorter though.

It's also possible that Futurama had been picked up for a third (I hope full-length this time) broadcast season, and Jackie Martling (or the person who reported this conversation) simply misunderstood this to be three additional seasons.  To me, this would be a more likely scenario.

Turn on javascript.
After looking in my browser and security options, I have a variety of "scripting" options already enabled and a few disabled, but none specify Java script.
I do recall a java script option in the past but I can't seem to find it in my browser version. :(

Or is it refered to as something else now?

Episode 6ACV23 is called "All the Presidents' Heads".
http://cocatalog.loc.gov/cgi-bin/Pwebrecon.cgi?v1=1&ti=1,1&Search%5FArg=futurama&Search%5FCode=TALL&CNT=25&REC=0&RD=0&RC=0&PID=Tn6hHvmUre06JGlpNRs3lGF8uOTq&SEQ=20100828213025&SID=1

I'm pretty certain that this is the episode we know about where characters go time-travelling to the original eras of a bunch of presidents in the head museum...
which thinking about it, is also likely to be the episode where they find out that licking heads in jars causes a sort of drug trip.

Found a few other titles in that database, but none for future episodes that are not already known.

I assume that "Inspector #5" was an early name for "Lethal Inspection".

3ACV15 (I Dated a Robot) was originally called "J-Lo Dolly".  I guess that the guest star was originally supposed to be Jennifer Lopez instead of Lucy Liu.
