So I was wondering, does anybody know or have the ratings for Futurama when it first started out like
:the start of the first season, and the end.
:the start of the second season, and the end.
:the start of the third season, and the end.

So we can see if there is a trend or a decline in viewership, or was it doomed sense the start.

All shows on fox have been declining since Futurama started.

From what I can remember, futurama started with a rating of about 16 (first episode).  At the end of the season it was doing about 12 (it averaged slightly better than the simpsons for the most part).

When moved to tuesday, it dropped down to 9 range; it was doing 7s when it was moved to sunday.  It scored on par with 60 minutes for a while (getting 6 compared to 60 minutes 8 rating).  It was averaging 5s, same as king of the hill, at the end of season 3.  This season it has been hanging around the 4.6 range, usually doing about .5 worse than king of the hill.

The trend has been gradual loss, followed by huge jumps when it was moved or pre-empted over and over.

(notice: these are not hard numbers, these are from personal research and from memory; they are estimate on how I associated how well it did compared to other shows)

Go to thefutoncritic.com

They have an archive dating back from 1999 I believe.
