The final three from Season Two have been selected, as voted by you. What a great choice it is, very hard though, vote now if you can decide.

Nnnnngh, tough choice. Gonna have to go with Anthology for being so different yet giving Futurama the traditional "annual-gimmick-no-rules" show, introducing Scruffy--and murdering most of the cast to boot.

wasn't War is the H-Word in the 3rd season? i don't know, anyway that's what gets my vote. I loved that episode. The Anthology was very close though. I never really thought Xmas Story was that great.

Uh-oh. Otis, shouldn't X-Mas Story be The Problem With Popplers?

EDIT: Nevermind. Just went back and found the other earlier poll.

You're correct that it was shown as part of the third season, but it was a Season Two production episode.

::maddening shriek echoes through the halls::

How on God's green Earth, am I supposed to chose between these 3 great episodes? They all are top-of-the-line, showroom pieces, summits of what Futurama is capable of (I guess that's why they made it to the finales, eh.  ;))

"War Is The H-Word" has some great scenes and jokes, plus it does a fantastic job of spoofing "Starship Troopers" and "M.A.S.H".

"AOI I" is amazing. The writers really let themself go on that one. Free of any restraints as goes to continuity they could just go ahead and write 3 hillarious episodes. The "What If Leela Was More Impulsive, Just A Little, Not Too Much?" part is probably my favourite segment ever. It was so funny and unexpected. Plus Leela really looked cute in that part.

But my vote goes to "X-mas Story". It just have it all: jokes, zany action sequences, emotional stuff, character development, good guest stars, good animation and CGI, Robot Santa and to top it of the "Santa Claus Is Gunning You Down"-carol. It's truely a masterpiece.

Has to be X-mas story. As everyone says a great episode. I especially like the bit where Bender tries to cheer Fry up but only succeeds in making him cry.

Xmas Story was the first episode of Futurama I ever watched and got me into the show, so it gets my vote.

X-mas story although all three of those episodes are awesome!! I really like war is the H-word especially here: "Fry? Dont you recognise me?...(fry squinting) Hermes?"  That part is great.

Wow, I didn't know "Xmas story" was so much more popular than "AOI 1". It's an amazing episode and it got my vote but still, it has three times as much as "AOI 1" at the moment and six times as much as "War Is The H-Word"!

I have to go with Xmas story.  My vote may be skewed though because I never got to see AOI 1.  I'll have to wait for the DVD, FOX will never show it.

I never thought that AOI1 was that great, and although War Is The H-Word had a lot of good lines, it doesn't come close to Xmas Story.

I can't speak for anybody else, but I still regard "X-mas Story" as the most wellrounded episode of Futurama yet to air.

There are episodes that are funnier (Roswell, Amazon Women, H-word etc.), more emotional (Parasites, Time Keeps Slipping etc.) and heavier on character development (Fryish, Leela's Homeplanet), but "X-mas Story" packs it all into a neat package with just the right amount of everything.

It's funny with many good jokes, has some pretty nifty animation and some very good action sequences. At the same time it throws in some very cute scenes between Leela and Fry, and let both of them mature and develop a bit.

Throw in the fact that all of the main characters get some screentime and a few funny lines, and you're set. Ofcourse adding great characters like Robot Santa (with the best matched guest star ever) and the immortal "Santa Claus Is Gunning You Down"-carol is great too, but really just is icing on the cake. Ofcourse that's just my oppinion.

"Xmas Story" was so great, but it was tough to choose that between "War is the H-Word". They were both very action-packed and still chock-full of laughter, and I think these two things make the best episodes. But Robot Santa gives "Xmas Story" its edge, so I picked that.

Tough call but I'm going with AOI1 - Bender killing Hanson was enough for me to love this episode.
