Note: I know it's a very stupidly long title.

Anyway, what if Zoidberg had eaten the Desert Muck Leech
(Cyprinodon Martius) (AKA The Dark One) before Leela came to Planet Express finding Zoidberg about to eat him? The dark one would be dead of course, but I wonder how the rest of the envets (in the movie) would follow. Perhaps Zoidberg could be their mascot instead? (Or Other)

Any thoughts?

Here's one of my thoughts below.

Could happen in a Parallel Universe or Fan Fiction.

This is probably going to get moved but: It probably would have played out basically the same with the changes being that the Waterfalls wouldn't have died and the ending would have sputtered out.

Also, Zoidberg would have never been able to eat him anyway. The Dark One would have turned his brain to mush if Leela hadn't come in.

Frida Waterfall wouldn't have died, so Leela would have heard from her that Fry was working to save the Violet Dwarf.  Not that Leela would have believed it.  Other than that, nothing would have really changed all that much.

Zoidberg would have been possessed by the dark one.

The subject is kind of small, it should probably be locked.

The subject is kind of small, it should probably be locked.

Small? By your point of view. But I wonder what others would think?

Anyhoo, it's probably more likely to be moved than locked.

PS sorry about sending this here.

I wouldn't get too worried Rush, it's not like it's gonna get locked if Future Shock says it should

In fact, its even less likely to be closed now that Future Shock has ventured his opinion.

Ok, here are a few reasons why this would not be locked:

1) It's actually interesting, what if he did eat the muck leach and absorbed the dark one's power and him himself became evil?

2) The question hasnt been raised and this is a futurama site

3) Your story was a random story, it wasnt even a fanfic

4) Your story involved people that didn't want to be involved with the story

This isn't about the Peelocalypse story. And couldn't Rush make a fan fiction about it instead of a whole thread?

It's open for discussion, anyone can put in what they think would happen.

Haha, just like MY thread, which had more hypothetical options.

I don't think that counted as input, that was mostly critisism.

And couldn't Rush make a fan fiction about it instead of a whole thread?

I like to think I'm a good writer of fan fics relating to Futurama (but I'm not, but I don't care I like to express little or much of my imagination) yet, I write anyway.

And you may come across the odd zero punctuation, bad spelling, bad grammar and filled with crummy worlds of plot holes and spelling errors in my fic (but I don't care, I have a very good raisen. If ever go to the Futurama madhouse I'm there)

It's open for discussion, anyone can put in what they think would happen.

Exactly fan fics; thoughts/opinions are like Parallel Universes endless amount of things can be different, so it was better off being a whole tread.

Let the thoughts and opinions rush in. And maybe even someone who's better than me at writting could write a fan fic that's related to this tread.

Borrowing/Copycatting/Plagiarism is allowed on this particular chain of thought I started so write away.

This is a thread about what if zoidberg ate the damned leach not whos thread is better. I'm sure if you continue argueing about whos a better writer then it will be locked.

I'm not arguing about that.
I hate when newbies bump threads only to bring back arguments.

I think that is a very interesting question. I believe that it would have resulted in the Dark One winning and extinguishing all life in the universe, or at least surviving and going on to manage an Italian restaurant his friend owns. :)

I submit, would Zoidberg have been able to eat the Dark One? And if he did swallow it, would it be content to just stay there, immune to digestion until the events at the climax*? And then in the events of the climax, when Fry activated the plot device, it would have been out of range of the anti-magic field, and then presumably would still have retained all the powers and invulnerability that it showed up until that point, leaving it in exactly the same position it was in at the very beginning. I don't know, what was the master plan of the Dark One, anyway? It actually didn't do anything exact be a vague threat. :hmpf:

*I assumed it was Fry's gizmo that enabled the Dark One to be killed at all at the climax.
