Xmas Story is storming ahead in the week one Poll but what other episodes would you like to see join it in the finals?

I think this will be more of a mixed bag because there are so many quality episodes and a lot of the best are here. For many it will be a very hard choise, I know I'm finding it hard choosing.

I went with "A Clone of My own" because of the great visuals, funny lines and the story was very original and engrossing. I doubt anyone else will vote for it because of Cubert, which is a shame.

Anthology of Interest I  :)

Although I've yet to see several of them  :(

I got no beef at all with Cubert--I like the annoying little p*ick--and I love Anthology and The Honking, but The Problem With Popplers wins hands-down in my book. Every moment was pure joy. The "Fishy Joe" jingle is classic, Free Waterfall Junior was a total ass-pain, loved the Tofu Lion (cough), and I'll never forget the shocking moment Jrr opened his eyes and said "Mama!"--and Leela's hilarious response. Shriekingly funny.

War is the H-Word must be the funniest of the lot here. There were tons of gags that made fun of other TV shows and movies, especially that M*A*S*H bit.

Some extremely good episodes up there. AOI, H-word and Popplers are all among the best episodes of all seasons. The first 2/3 of Deep South and Clone were were equally golden. So difficult to choose.

AOI wins. That show was simply brilliant. The part with Leela being more impulsive (just a little, not too much  :laff: ) alone makes that episode a classic. Leela was too cute for words in that story.

And seeing Hanson get squashed was simply the icing on the cake.  :evillaugh:

I voted for AoI but War is the H-word is a close second.  Two of the best episodes ever!

It just gets tougher as the weeks go on, so many great episodes. Anyway, my vote goes to AOI1, it was the first Futurama with three mini-stories, and seeing how the Simpsons has done it many many times in the past, it was nice to see Futurama's first stab at it be so good.

I agree that "The Deep South" lost something when they found Atlanta but in my personal opinion I though that the last third of "A Clone of My Own" was the best. It has my favorite CGI scene out of all the episodes that I've seen so far, breath taking every time I see it. The humour is still their and the storyline becomes exceptionally interesting and engrossing. I do respect your views though Teral, the surprise birthday party for Professor Farnsworth at the beginning was amazingly good too :)

I'm actually very surprised that no one has voted for "The Deep South" yet. Maybe it's because AOI is so damn good.

Ahh, allow me to clarify. I meant to say that the first 2/3 of Deep South and all of Clone was good. I too like the Near Death Star stuff. The CGI is breathtaking and the story is pretty solid, with some good oneliners. It's a great episode, but no competition for AOI, H-Word and Popplers.

I can see how the original line could be misinterpreted. Sorry about that.

I voted for A Clone Of My Own because the Near Death Star sequence is just brilliant, but War Is The H Word is fantastic as well.

Tough call between Popplers and AOI, but I'm going to have to go with AOI.

I had a hard time going between "H-Word", "Popplers" and "Deep South".  In the end I picked "H-Word" though.

Wow, so many to choose from, and almost all were great.  I finally chose, after much deliberation, Popplers, just because Free Waterfall Jr. was too funny.  Lrrr stoned after eating him was brilliant (my hands are huge.  They can touch anything but themselves...oh).

Popplers. I don't know whether it was because it took so long for me to see it, or whether it was just that much funnier.

All of them were great! But I loved the way they worked in Donavan in the deep south.

Popplers through H-word is probably the best run of episodes they've done yet. It's a tough call, but I think I'll go with War is the H-word.
