It's time for the Final Three of Futurama Episode Survivor: The Remake. Same rule as the last round, you're voting for the episode least worthy of being the Ultimate Survivor. The poll will close Saturday.

This is so sad (not in a weepy way; in a pathetic way), but I'm honestly conflicted. What does it say about my real life, if the toughest decision I face today involves voting between three episodes of a sci-fi cartoon? Jeez.

I'm voting for Devil's Hands. For as great an episode as it is (the music, in particular, is brilliant), and for as sweet as the shippy story is...it's kind of frustrating when you get to BBS and see the ending essentially reset. I guess the movies kind of wrecked my love of the episode; they kind of made it seem pointless, in a way.

Ah, screw it. I'm voting for Roswell, instead. I'm too much of a shipper for my own good.

Devil's Hands is the most blatantly shippy among them, so, that one. The other two are much more sci-fi-y, which is awesome.

I know how you feel Gorky. I'm going to vote off Devil's Hands. It is a great episode but I have to be honest with myself and say Roswell is better. I don't feel too bad since it got this far (meaning it is a universally liked episode) and I'm going to give the crown to The Sting anyway.

"Devil's Hands" needs out immediately. I'd propose a recount if it won the Survivor competition.

To be honest, I think "The Sting" deserves to win this thing. And my fondness for Devil's Hands probably has as much to do with my bittersweet (yet fond) memories of watching what was supposed to be the show's finale, as it does with the (to be fair, considerable) quality of the episode itself. Partly, I voted for Roswell because I figured it'd be the favorite going into this, and I was trying to prevent "The Sting" from being voted off. I'm kind of surprised that so many people have voted against Roswell already.

Go Sting! It's come a long way, and everyone has reasons why the other two shouldn't win. I voted for Roswell. It may have ended well, but the battle scene at the end seemed out of place.

As it seems as though the race is too close to call, the poll will be open until tomorrow night.

And let me take off gamerunner chapeau to say I hope Roswell stays and The Sting goes.

Finally, after a few hours of a tie, it was broken and The Devils Hands Are Idle Playthings has been voted off. New poll up tomorrow night.

With all due respect, i_c_weiner...the way this particular poll was conducted was ridiculously ad hoc.  You didn't specify a firm deadline or firm conditions under which the poll would end, and your admission that you're rooting for a particular episode damages the poll's credibility.  It's past midnight PEEL time, but not yet midnight in the US...who's to say that another 3 votes might not have come in for The Sting or Roswell?

Frisco has spoken!

Honestly, though, I somewhat echo speedracer's sentiments. I think the actual survivor layout, where a certain episode needed eight/nine/ten votes to be eliminated, was more valid than these polls. That said, I still think it was cool to bring Episode Survivor back now that all the movies have been released; I appreciate the effort and thought you put into it, i_c. But these last few eliminations, what with the polls and all, were a bit clumsy in execution.

Yeah - I want Roswell to win, but I still echo speedracer and Gorky's sentiments. Keeping the voting process more consistent throughout the whole thing probably would have been better.

Not that it's a big deal or anything, because it isn't, in the slightest, but... yeah.
