I had a funny story I thought I'd share....

My Fiance and I got engaged in November. He popped the question at Disneyland and I was soooo happy! I thought I was dreaming, it was too good to be true.
Then later on when I was jumping with joy, my fiance looked at me and said, "There's just one thing I want you to do, I want you to wake up.."
It was a terrible yet funny joke. I yelled at him "NO!! How dare you!" I actually thought I might be like Leela and wake up.

Also, I'm playing the Futurama theme at our wedding!!

Ha, true laugh out loud! So is the Groom gonna have Fry's haircut and someone in the background dressing up in a rob with the number 9 on it?
If so, can the number 9 guy be me? I really like that guy now.

Note that

playing the Futurama theme [music] at a wedding

is not the same as

   planning a Futurama themed wedding!

Although now that you mention it she could totally rig one of the chandeliers to fall on any guest who has his/her head on backwards!

I know what she meant, I made a few suggestions, but that's going a little overboard. Just put up a few clips on youtube and post heres.

Wait, I'm sorry, I forgot my manners about 4 hours ago, Congratulations leiapadme77.

All "spamming" aside, I actually put fry as my desktop paper for my phone, and one of my ringtones is the Futurama theme song. One time I brought a couple of the KidRobot figures of Fry and Leela to work to keep me company while I ate lunch.

Nice! My message tone on my phone right now is the Hypnotoad sound -- which, as David X. Cohen loves to point out, is actually called "Angry Machine".

I admit it, I watch the episodes with the commentary on. They're pretty hilarious, especially when the voice actors are in them. I believe I recall Billy West singing "Space Oddity" in the Professor's voice in one of them.

Pshh. Who doesn't? ;)

Seriously though, the commentaries really are very entertaining. But I mean, how could they NOT be? Those guys are the minds behind the show, and the show is pure genius. It just makes sense that they'd be fun to listen to.

I like to quote Futurama whenever possible. :) And I encourage my friends to watch it.

I too watch with commentaries on more often than off.  John DiMaggio burping on cue, Billy West's law office, and "Nobody Cares!" are just a few of my favorites.

That was John DiMaggio recreating one of his "Professor-offs" with Billy, I believe (from "Space Pilot 3000"). :)
