And then the following Sunday it's preempted for "Independence Day".

How many times does Fox need to show that fucking movie?

Well, they DO own it.  Would you prefer "Kung Pow?"

Is Kung Pow that stupid looking martial arts movie that looks like it's trying to imitate Scary Movie, but makes fun of martial arts instead?

That's a mouthful :)

I knew FOX wouldn't be able to make it a month of new Futurama, if it's any consolation Futurama isn't the only program to get pre-empted, The Simpsons is too.

It's not that much consolation. Given all those times they COULD have shown a block of Futurama repeats, but opted for The Simpsons.

Also, it might have something to do with ID:4 being released on DVD.

What! you mean to say it's not yet availible in America on DVD. It came out almost a year ago on DVD in the UK, I got it the day it came out :p

We should at least be lucky for 3 new episodes in a row. Let's not get pushy.

Yeah, I have the ID4 special edition sitting right on my DVD shelf, it's been out for a while in the US. At least we're picking up steam as far as new Futurama goes, the first part of the season was pathetic, with the season premiere on December 9th and only 3 episodes shown until February!

Also, the Oscars are airing that night. They're going to lose lots of viewers to that regardless of what they'll show.

Ugh, the Oscars.  I almost forgot about them because nothing came out this year worthy of being nominated and I thought they cancelled them or something.

Long live Pan and Scan!    :nono:

Anamorphic widescreen is the way to go, now if they would get around to releasing Star Wars, Back to the Future, and Indiana Jones, then I'd be a happy collector.

Yup--Futurestock(3acv21).

Yeah. That's gotta be it. The Oscars. FOX probably thinks they'll have a better chance at high ratings if they show a movie they've shown too many times all ready instead of their usual lineup. A few weeks ago they showed Rush Hour in place of the regular Wednesday lineup because the Grammys were on (or some kind of music award show) too.

Thanx for the info, looks life FOX are trying to air all of Season 3 eps before showing any more from Season 4. I just wish they would show "The Route of all Evil", and It's older than any of the others.

Yeah, and "A Leela Of Her Own". I know I would love to see that ep. And it's 3ACV16, so they better show it this season.

Good news everyone!

4/7/02 - A Leela of Her Own (3ACV16)
Leela becomes the first female professional Blernsball pitcher - which might mean something if she could do something besides hit the batters

Yes, finally another Leela episode. I've been dying to see "A Leela Of Her Own" ever since they started the new season. This is gonna be great, I can feel it. Leela and blernsball. I liked blernsball in "Fear of A Bot Palnet", hope they explain it a little more in that new ep (unless fux preempts it for "Glutton Bowl II"  ).

Cool, thanx for the info cellery. I'm relieved  they are showing a new episode :) I am getting very worried that they seem to be deliberately mising out "The Route of all Evil", I really hope they show it this season.
