I've wondered this, in the past, for a little. Do you personally like FUTURE-AMA, pronouncing the hard A, or FUTURE-OMA, with the O as in omelet.

Books I'm sorry to say it but I dont think anyone read your discriptions. I'm the only one that knew it was Future-Oma (as in omelette) rather than Future-Oma (as in Ohio)

It is the Rhode Island accent again...:nono:

I knew that, but I wanted others to know. Or else they'd think I said it Future-oh-ma.

I pronounce it the way DXC pronounces it. ;)  My mum keeps pronouncing it like "Fut-ur-am-ah," though, and it drives me nuts, especially since she's heard me say the show's name aloud multiple times by this point.

But that's -Oma. Oma doesn't make that am-a sound. I think the majority of you are just confused and don't know your english.

Are people thinking -Oma makes ohm-a?

Your options suck, Books.

Who actually has any "O" sound in the way they say Futurama? No-one, that's who. That's an accent thing.

The only issue is if you say the third syllable as a long or short a.

@Crash - You're a very silly man and I'm not going to interview you.
