17 is illegal??? 16 is legal here, I think it is even lower in some continental countries.

What humanity needs is temporary sterilisation. When child starts puberty sterilise them, let them rut like wild monkeys for a few years (get it out of their system), then at age 25 desterilise them and let them go on to make babies if they still want. Less unwanted births.

You know, I've entertained an idea similar to Torqemada's, with this difference: the sterilization is not reversed until both potential, documented parents PASS AN EXAM to determine their basic parenting abilities. It's a completely fascist idea, yes--open to such wild abuse and illegalities as to boggle the mind--but every time I see someone, who shouldn't be allowed NEAR children in the first place, publicly abusing her entire damn litter of future tragic news items, I do allow myself a little fascism... Would the benefits outweigh the costs? What would the NEW problems be, and would they be worth it? Human nature loathes paradise the same way nature abhors a vacuum; people would work tirelessly to find ways to turn this into more heartache and pain--but could they match what we read about or see in world headlines today?

Sure, I'd sack her. I don't know if I'd ever get into a serious relationship with her though. I would be too ashamed to introduce her to my parents and stuff. I would rather date someone with more dignity, like a 40 year old stripper or a heroin-addicted prostitute. But the important thing is that cosplayers would make great one night stands, and if I ever feel adequate enough to be a "one night stand" kind of guy, I'll definitely check out the comic cons or wherever cosplayers hang out.
