I like Bender's bumper sticker, "If you can read this, I'll kill you" and the bit where Calculon says "It's either in Paris, or much more likely... still in the abandoned automotive lab."

That part is one of the most fantastic Futurama moments ever!

I've never understood why this epsiode is so unpopular.  I like it.

nope.  There are 72 episodes in all- 75 if you count the movies. Season 1 has 13 episodes, and season 2 has 19, so The Cryonic Woman isn't quite at the halfway point.  We have six more days until we're half way to the release of ITWGY.

The first half of this episode is pretty good. I love how the Mongols are still waiting on the other side of the great wall. Fry's argument with the pizza box is great too.

Note on The Honking, that episode really grew on me.

I've never understood why this epsiode is so unpopular.  I like it.

One word: Michelle.

(Then again I've never really understood why That's Lobstertainment is so unpopular).

Kind of like Bender's Game.

Touche.

That said, yeah, I love the part where the PE building is trailing haplessly behind the ship and crashing into various things.
You'd think Bender and Fry might've noticed.

The first half of the episode was good but Michelle and Pauly Shore or whatever his name was dragged it down.

Also, we may not be halfway through the episodes but were halfway through the seasons so stop trying to depress me... :)

Agree with the general consensus about this one, the first half was excellent but it ran out of steam somewhere towards the middle and petered out with a whimper by the end.

Definitely the weakest of the (production) season closing episodes and by a huge margin too.

Cryonic Woman is the only episode that I will not not watch if I can avoid it. I like it up until Michell comes but that is when I turn it off if I even bother to watch it.

I'm caught up now with the episodes to I'll be posting regularly on here now. Hopefully.... classes are starting up again.... Damn college...

One of my favorite episodes. Hilarious from beginning to end, and one of the few where there is a happy ending for all. (And Bender's loot is the one of largest ever, maybe only topped by what he carried off on the Alkazar episode...)

Brilliantly used Sci-Fi concept (something of a cliche due to overuse, but who cares), the plot develops the Fry/Leela relationship in a great way. All in all, one of the very best episodes ever.

Obligatory quotes:

"Gumbercules? I love that guy!"
"Wait a minute, man." (That worm always cracks me up)

I didn't like that episode The Cryonic Woman.  We got to learn about how nagging and controlling Michelle was.  It's no wonder Fry and her broke up.  Also, when they got their career chips back, Fry and Bender get Leela's old job and Leela works as a pizza delivery girl.  Which I thought was kind of a cruel prank they played on Leela.

I could understand Bender playing a cruel prank like that, but Fry?    Amazon Women In the Mood and Parasites Lost were way better episodes.   Only one more month and ITWGY comes out!

I love Parasites Lost. Zoidberg proves his lack of medical knowledge and the riding in on one of Fry's Sperm... that disturbs me. Also the levels of Fry's body brain, lungs, liver, and ballroom. I like that this episode delves a little into Fry and Leela's relationship but it also shows that Leela doesn't like Fry the way he is. He gets rid of the worms and she get mad and throws him out she wont even give Fry a chance without them. I know he was stupid metioning when he was dating Amy but still he was honestly trying to get her to like the real him without the worms.

Now to watch the episode. Yes I posted this without watching the episode but I'm doing preliminary things. I'll post again after I watch it or update this post.

Look guys, confessing that you haven't watched them spoils the idea of the thread.

I know we all can quote and remember every episode anyway, so there's no real need to watch each one but I like the fact that, a few times at least, I have replied here after watching the episode.

But to be honest I mostly rely on memory. So I guess I'm a total hypocrite.  :hmpf:

I am half going along with the idea of the thread, it's just that since I certainly don't have time for one a day I've spread my viewing of all the episodes/movies over the four months between Bender's Game and ITWGY, mainly as a way of making the wait more tolerable - plus I hadn't seen quite a number of episodes (the vast majority in fact) for 2/3 years believe or not so it's been good to revisit them.

Though I'm quite a fair distance ahead of the rest of you guys who are going along with this 'one a day' idea as the next episode I'll be watching, tomorrow in fact, is AOI2.

Having said that the rest of you are catching up steadily but since I aim to watch Bender's Game on the 18th February I'll always be a slight bit ahead. Why the 18th you didn't ask? Well, I'm anticipating that ITWGY will be leaked onto the net at least a couple of days before my DVD will arrive so I give myself four or five days leeway.

Always thinking ahead when it comes to matters of such importance.

Many Futurama episodes have great names, and Parasites Lost is one of them. The name, of course, plays with John Milton's "Paradise Lost" and echoes its subject matter.

I love the truck stop scene. Fry eating the 'toilet sandwich' is a gross-out, yet so crazy-funny it makes me laugh every time. Zoidberg's "guess again" at Fry's colonoscopy and the parasite city's name (Cologne) are among the funniest bits. Still, I 'fess the episode as a whole is not in my top ten list.

I love Fry trying to get the tuckers to stop hitting on Leela. I agree Kifz about Zoidberg with the guess again about the colonospy. Bender yelling abandon ship. I love that Zoidberg shows the slightest bit of medical knowledge because of a commercial then like 30 seconds later shows his lack by saying the food is digested in the heart. Zoidberg eating the cholesterol from one of Fry's valves. that was just wrong. I also like the worm King specially "One day you're gonna be eating a fast food burger and BOOM.. you'll be crawling with us again. Have you ever wondered what makes special sauce so special? Yo!"

*  Bendersfan1221 Resists making comment about Fry with muscles...

SoS I post before I watch the episode because I don't have time til later and it makes me remember to watch the episode. I also post while I watch or after depending on if I want to have my laptop out..
