Because I'm not much good at drawing real people, ie: actors from live-action shows. I mainly do cartoon or comic characters because their features are less specific and more open to interpretation. I usually only attempt a live-action character if he or she wears something outlandish or has a distinctive feature that makes their identity more obvious... Like David Duchovny's enormous nose.

FYI: I did attempt one with Kirk in it (Also captains Sparrow and Reynolds). It's not very good:
