Cool, here is week two, looks like "I, Roommate" will make it into the finals but what other episodes would you like to join it?

For those who are unfamiliar with the rules:
"Ok here is how it works, For the first two seasons I will make a POLL which will include episodes from their production season. All you have to do is vote for your favorite episode and if you want you can talk about it too. Because there is a maximum of 10 POLL options I will make two POLLs for each season each containing half of the epiosdes from their production series."

One of the mods can close the "week one" thread, thanx.

A Flight to remember, but the are all 100% great these ones, alot harder than the first week.
I'd then go Hell is other robots, a big peice of garbage, Fry and the Slurm Factory, When Aliens Attack and Mars U.

Flight to Remember.  Titanic rips will never go out of style.  So many great lines . . .

Hmmm, real tough choice...  :hmpf:
All great eps...
I don't know - there's just something about Mars University (probably not Guenter though), I think just for Robot House which makes it my favourite.

Fry and the Slurm Factory. It gets kinda slow towards the end, but the first 10-15 minutes are so damn funny.

I Like A Flight to Remember, but I got to vote for Hell is the Other Robot. This is the first ep I had a crush on Bender

I'm going for A Flight to Remember, that was one of the first eps where I was truly wowed by the visuals and story. Little things like the crew's reflection on the marble floor and the cool scene where the "camera" rotated around Bender and the Countess kissing were really cool. Plus it had the whole crew in it and they all had good parts.

Hell is Other Robots rules. Very funny, lots of Bender antics relating to sin and watching him as a 'good' bot, and you have the Beastie Boys.

I see that this POLL is a lot more split than the other, infact it's currently a three way split. I forgot to say before that I voted for "Hell is Other Robots", I'm a big Beelzebot fan and it was really funny and robot hell was stunning. Also it had in my opinion the best Futurama song and it's cool to see Bender doing loads of adult orientated stuff. For me it was a very hard choice because I really like "Fry & the Slurm Factory" a lot too.

Yeah, it definitely shows how the show picked up and got really good really quick. Not that it wasn't good before, but the quality of these later eps is awesome. The Simpsons took a few seasons to get up to speed (story and animation wise), I bought the Season 1 DVD box set and it's a little painful to watch compared to the Simpsons as we know them today.

After watching Fry and the Slurm Factory again I have to say that it is a step above my last choice.  Can I change my vote?

I don't think you can but I'll take it into account when I make the Season One finals POLL :)

Gotta go with "Hell." I was stunned to learn Katey Segal could sing so lovely, loved the song itself, and Beelzebot is my all-time favorite one-shot character. The whole "jacking-on" gag also stands as the gag I've been most embarassed to laugh at. In spite of the fact Nibbler is abandoned at the gates of Robot Hell at the episode's fade--oops--this was Season One's most pimpalicious ep.

I only saw "Fry and the Slurm factory" for the first time last Saturday and I LOVE IT!!! Its my favourite episode so far. But I really liked "Hell is other Robots" as well. I bought the DVD and there were quite a few episodes I'd not seen before. But there'll be others I LOVE as well  ;) But i voted for "fry and the slurm factory"  :)

Really difficult choice. Between 'A flight to remember' and 'Hell is other robots' I chose Hell.. because I love the song.

AFTR is first, followed very closely by FATSF and then HIOR.  That's the way I'd pick 'em.

It's actually revealed on the DVD commentaries that the subject of how Nibbler got home will be told in season 4 somewhere.  I don't know why this is significant now, but who knows...
