   I stand by everything I've said, thus far. While looking for the guy who started all this speculation, derision, cynicism(sp?) and (maybe unfounded) hope, I found the auther, who was looking for Charles for different reasons. He let me read what he wrote, and I have shared the majority of it here. I'm not making this up. Having said that, I know that people will believe (or disbelieve) what they want, regardless. It's just part of who we are as individuals.

   Deep down, in my heart-of-hearts, I honestly don't believe we'll ever see it on the big or little screen. That's just the gut feeling I have.  I'm skeptical like that. Like other PEELers, I think that the possibility of MG and DXC using an outside source is pretty slim. I would love to be wrong, though.

   As for the remaining two confirmed movies: Don't think that just because we're hashing this "maybe/maybe not" tidbit out, here, that any of us aren't uber-hyped about "Bender's Game" and "Into the Wild Green Yonder". I know I am, and I'm very certain that I'm not alone. And, I do my bit. I buy the DVDs and the collectibles and I come here to read and participate.

   With every fiber of my being, I hope that ITWGY isn't the end of it all. As I've said before, I hope that MG keeps the Futurama coming, in whatever form he choses.

   On a related note, I was reading a post in an older discussion about what Fry and Leela's children would look like. a couple of the posters made reference to a Leela + Amy, lesbian fanfic. The gyst of it was that this fanfic was being considered for production and release, as an animated Futurama movie, possibly in late 09. I checked it out at FM/TLZ. Is there any truth to the claims of the guy who wrote that fic?

   Thanks, for setting me straight on that one, Frisco17.  I guess the rumors and speculation will continue on until the end of Futurama, which I hope is a very long way off in the distant future.

I used to perpetuate this rumor that Futurama was coming back.... I think that was about 5 years ago.
