Just finish watching"Beast with a Billion Backs", not a spoiler.

I'm a huge futurama fan, love it ever since the first time I seen one of the episodes.  I almost freak out when I saw someone uploaded the new movie on tudou.com,lol.  But I just want to say, compare with the first movie "bender's big score', this one feels like a big let down.  In the first movie, there are good comedy, romance, and most importantly the big twist in the end. Which made it a very great movie.  However the new movie barely have any of these at all, I'm not going through the details and spoil it for you guys, but after I watched it, it just felt like a extra long regular episode.  Maybe I was hoping for too much, after the first movie I've been expecting an even better futurama story  .

Personally i preferred it.  I felt that although the first movie had a great plot, it lacked the humour that i am used to from Futurama and I think this is because they had to concentrate on making a great first movie that will have plotlines that will pay off later on.  However in the second one i felt that what they lacked in plot they made up for hugely in laughs.  Going back to the first movie if you think about it all four of them have to link up so therefore it would be difficult for the second one to have too much of a plotline otherwise it would steer away from the clever planning i'm sure they set up in the first one.  I feel that same will be said of the third and then the fourth will wrap it all up.  This is why i think they relied heavily on laughs, and much of it felt like it wasn't really moving anywhere.  As a fan i loved it, thought the jokes were funny, and although the character development felt a little desperate housewives, i do think they are leading somewhere.

Sorry to rant on but i really do want to defend this and give reasons why it may not have been as good as the first.  I however preferred it.  What can i say, laughs get me everytime!

I liked it, it was a good movie
allthough the plot wasnt that good and there wasnt anygood twist and the last 30 mins wasnt that great but i thought the movie was very funny and it was good to see another movie
