I've got a screener.

I've also got a two year old son, and if I want to watch/enjoy something, I've got to wait until after he goes to sleep.

So, I started watching last night at about 10:45 or 11:00.
I only watched about 30 minutes or so before I got too tired, but so far so good. I think it's better than "Score" so far. I laughed out loud at several parts...

I know what you all are thinking. "You call yourself a Futurama fan?!?! Down some Red Bull and eat some ground coffee beans w/ a spoon if you have to!"

Here's the deal, I'm such a big fan, I want to be totally awake when I see something I love (also why I don't go to midnight movies.)

Try some coffee beans coated in chocolate. They work a charm.  ;)

Darn it -- I am a big fan. Really I am.

I'm sorry I'm torturing you guys. I'm just so stoked about the movie. Futurama is my favorite all time show...

uhh...yeah, I guess I don't post here much... or ever really. I gots no time.

Just finished "Beast," and it is great. I liked it more than "Score."

I'll check out the special features this weekend.

Check out this picture

So, yeah, my inclination is to not spoil things. If anyone is interested in the plot or whatnot I can always do a review and put it in the spoiler/highlight thingy.

Alls I've got to say about this movie is

    So, which are you:
    • A journalist
    • Conan O'Brien
    • An important critic
    • A very large donor to Fox
    REVEAL YOUR SECRET IDENTITY, CONAN!

And knowing that it's better than "Score" is enough for me.

    It's me, Conan!

No, I would say none of the above. "Pseudo-journalist" I think best describes me.

Below I'll put the review I did for The Kansas City Star for "Score." I'm an employee who freelance writes sometimes. I might be doing one for "Beast." I'm keeping my fingers crossed.   :)

Oh and btw, if anyone lives (or will be in) the KC area, I'd be happy to watch it again and show you "Beast."

    Here's my review of "Score."

Futurama" fans, rejoice! The show has returned.

"Bender's Big Score" picks up where the TV show left off, with a sly reference to being canceled (Fox dumped it in 2003 after four years of monkeying with its time slot).

Fry and the gang are charged with making a delivery to "the Nude Beach Planet," where characters' naughty bits are cleverly covered.

While there, they meet some vile nudist aliens, who con everyone at Planet Express and take control of the company.

All the voice actors have returned - John Di Maggio as Bender, Katey Sagal (of "Married With Children" ) as Leela, and master voice artist Billy West (who voiced both Ren and Stimpy) as Fry, the Professor and Zoidberg.

The quality of the animation is superb, as it was on the TV show, but this time around the action is in widescreen.

The movie gives a new backstory to Fry's dog, Seymour. The heart-wrenching ending of the TV episode in which he was featured made some fans want to cry.

That we're now getting "Futurama" as a 90-minute movie instead of 22-minute episodes takes a little getting used to. It will eventually be broken up and shown on TV, and that may be the preferable way to watch this one - in four chunks.

There's no doubt, though, that "Bender's Big Score" shoots and scores. It's further proof that it's better to die and be revived than stretch it out and exhaust all possible story ideas.

Dang. I just read it again. I really dissed the Simpsons with that last line, didn't I?

It's just that they don't acknowledge the events of BBS at all. Leela shows no discernable jealousy about Fry and Colleen whatsoever. Total character resetting time (although Amy/Kif seem to have some rocky times ahead...).

Correct me if I'm wrong, since you've seen the movie and I haven't, but I've been certain there'd be more jealousy aimed at Yivo than colleen(assuming they aren't one and the same).
