How could you say such a thing Andie/Slimmy???  In the interview with Eric Kaplan:

Quote
Andie: No! Most people want him dead. We had a 140 post in our message board about how much people hated him  :) They even thought of ways to kill him with animated gifs and everything!

Eric: Ok! Cool people, I won't write anymore Cubert episodes!

How could you!!??  If anything, the thread showed the great attention and discussion that Cubert brought to the show, and the thread was most certainly not just about how people didn't want him on the show!

NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!

Ah shut up.
Every one hates the smart ass test tube boy. I think kaplan has a great skill, and I am sure he will kill off cubert in a polite fashion.

In the mean time - DIE CUBERT DIE DAMN YOU!

thankyou for you time and cooperation - - josh

No way!  Cubert is excellent, and sure to improve now that he isn't quite as ignorant.  He is excellent, and there is no real reason to kill him off!

CUBERT MUST LIVE FOREVER!

Why does everyone hate Cubert some much that they want him dead? (now everyone's going to kill me) Don't get me wrong, I DON'T like Cubert too much and I think he's annoying (maybe they won't kill me after all), but the writers might be able to squeeze some funny jokes out of him.

So I wouldn't like to see him finished off, at least as long as they don't use him too often (and not give him big parts like in "Clone of my own").

I think he could be good, he just needs to be less arrogant.
I pleaded with Eric not to leave him out though so I hope they don't
He was kind of cute in the last scene of  "A Clone of My Own".
I suppose we'll just have to wait and see won't we. Maybe he will come into his own when he befriends Dwight.

I agree with Plasma. Thanks a LOT Andie. Sheesh. We finally get some new characters and just because they're a little annoying everyone want's them off the show. That reminds me. You're all annoying and I hate all of you, but you all still have the right to come here and post at the message boards, shouldn't cubert have the right to evolve as a character. What if Itchy and Scratchy would have gotten a bad response from the audience and they would have written him out of any further episodes, we would be missing out on a lot of funny stuff in those later episodes. Well what's done is done I guess. I hope you're all happy.

Yeah! I think Cubert's a great character in the show, characters don't have to be likable to be good. He's the one everyone 'loves to hate'. No way should they get rid of him! (IMO of course)

What are you yelling at Andie for iZac? Eric asked what we all thought of him and Andie gave the info that 140 people posted on that post. Don't blame him, he was just relaying what everyone else was saying. And btw I do think Cubert should be allowed to evolve so if you hate him, don't, give him a chance!

I'll blame everyone but myself! Ha ha, anyway I guess most people get annoyed by my personality, they take me too serious. Jeez people, lighten up! I guess I should just say "just kidding" after a joke, damn american's can't take a frikkin joke so you have to end every joke with "just kidding". Anyway I was just messing around with Andie. I yell at everyone ha ha. I'm being serious here folks, don't take me seriously. Anyway if they DO get rid of cubert, he will be a martyr for all us annoying folk. That's all I have for now.

Stay tuned next episode for: "To Sell the Truth" or "Really Officer, I Thought My Son Was Smarter Than That".

Yes, I'm not saying that Cubert must stay exactly as he is.  In fact, I would very much like to see him involve into a geeky misfit genius, or perhaps just into the butt-of-all-jokes guy.  However, he certainly should not die off!

Wow! Haven't been here for a while. Well, Marc has his Pokemon, so Futurama needs its Cubert.   :)

But, what do we want with Futurama, "Friends" in the future or something? We need less "beautiful" hollow characters, like so many of the vacuous shows that exist today, and more actual *Characters*, which is the basis of any great show. So, I want Cubert kept in the show, even if he is hated, by taking him out it would only indicate that the show has become a popularity contest, rather than something with an edge.

Zoidberg, Farnsworth and Bender are beautiful, hollow characters?

Well put Gort, Futurama needs a variety of characters, including the annoying.  While I agree with Kryten that the others are by no means shallow, I would like to stop things from going that way by keeping Cubert.

C'mon Slimmy, SAVE CUBERT!

Errrr... I didn't mean that the other Futurama characters were shallow, they're not, I was referring to characters on other shows, such as "Friends", etc.

I noticed your first message was edited Gort did you spell something incorrectly.
Anyway I agree with you Gort shows like friends do have hollow characters and there is no way that a show like Malcom in the middle would be successful in any other country besides America, it just goes to show how stupid a lot of yanks are.

I wish our American cartoons were as brilliant as your British cartoons.

I mean, you created the Simpsons, King of the Hill, South Park, Futurama, Duckman, the Tick... Oh, wait those were AMERICAN, weren't they?

Well, you've got Bob and Margaret... wait, that was Canadian.

Oh well, at least your cuisine is wonderful.

So if I am not american I am brittish?
What kind of retard are you kryten.
I think brittish humour is just as bad as american humour and what the hell are you talking about duckman like as if that was a great show.

Heh Gort what do u mean a long grudge?
I only read your message just before posting mine.
OK ill try to be more funny, heres a joke:

Gort, Kryten and 2 lesbians were heading on a camping trip and were scheduled to leave at the same time who got there first?

The lesbians: while Gort and Kryten were packing shit the lesbians were doing 69.

Back the joke train up!
If you are going to mock a person, at least make it original. May I remind you that England gave the world Mr. Bean, Monty Python, and birth to the good ol' USA? Don't be downin' the Brits.
But I digress.
I want to know people's feelings toward our friends from Omicron Persei 8.

Like I'm going to take criticism from someone who calls himself "iliveinapileofshit". I just find it ironic that you're ripping on America in a forum that revolves around an American show.

Gnomi: I'm not bashing Britain. I'm bashing British cartoons and food. Hell, I took my handle from Red Dwarf. Does that sound like something a Britphobe would do?

Sorry if I offended anyone. Except for shitboy. He can go to hell.

Oh, and two more points.

Duckman WAS brilliant. How many other cartoons do episodes based on Dostoyevsky? How many cartoons do an episode where the main character finds himself forced to relive the plot of Hamlet? Get past the fart jokes, and Duckman was one of the most literate shows on TV.

And the Omicronians rule, which is why i'm squeezing a cameo by Lrrr and Ndndn into (SHAMELESS SELF-PROMOTION AHEAD) my latest fanscript, which is inpired by two things: the classic film "The Manchurian Candidate", and my recent trip to the dentist (yes, my toothache is gone, along with my upper-left wisdom tooth).

Jeez you yanks and brits take everything so seriously, relax.
Did I say all Americans shows were useless? NO
There is the occasional great show like Futurama and the Simpsons but is just goes to show how dumb Americans are when MITM gets better ratings than futurama, that wouldnt happen in any other country except possibly for England.

it doesn't happen in England. While many have mentioned that some British shows belong in Britain, I think the same about some american shows, Malcom in the middle being one of them. Others including shows like Popular and (This may be Canadian) IMO due south. I hated that. Duckman was an extremely excellent show, so different from the rest, but so much funnier because of it. Oh and what brilliant programming land do you live in shitman?

Hehe, this is the best that errr... Surprising That He Can Spell Shit With a Dictionary Man can do, I did say be more funny, but hey what do you expect from a pile of crap. Oh, you say lighten up, well you seemed to have had your knickers in a twist over my jibe to write such garbage as you did, so maybe you should take a leaf from your own book.... Oh, forgot, books tend to go above four letters. Poor you!

Well, now to more pressing matters.  :) I think that there is a lot of crap (no, not him - this is not *that* bad) shows from both sides of the Atlantic, as well as some greats, too. Usually, these shows reflect different styles, that are appreciated by each nation's audience. But, occasionally there are intelligent shows, as well as some stupid ones (probably enjoyed by you know who!), that cross this divide and are appreciated by many of the viewers from both sides of the "Big Pond". Futurama, The Simpsons, Taxi, to name a few, from the US side and Monty Python, Red Dwarf and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy are some from this side. Anyway, we all have crap shows in our respective countries, except where Shit for Brains Man is based, they just go to his backyard and watch him for that!

Uh-oh...my AD&D instinct are taking over.

What kind of troll are we talking about here? Desert? Spectral?
Trolls are such a nuisance, those regenerating bastards...does anyone have any oil, cause my 9th level Shapeshifter is about to kick that trolls arse, and all I need is some oil and a torch to burn it with.
It's hit dice is no problem, cause my dual-wielded scimitars with a THAC0 on 12/14 should be able to hit an AC of 4 fairly often. Unless i have a bad die today.

Somebody stop me...seriously.

No, it's the Internet variety. The way to defeat an Internet troll is to ignore it, which causes it to wither and die. So get out your +2 Cloak of Ignoring, and I'll cast the Spell of I'm not Listening, I Can't Hear You, La-la-la-la-la...

Just because you wrote half a page of shit doesn’t mean you toasted me, nothing you said was even mildly funny and using ******************s to emphasize words doesn’t make your message anymore believable.
