About the pre-empting. Could this be petty revenge from FOX for the Save Futurama-campaign and all. Think about it. You pre-empt a sparkling new episode of a quality show like Futurama for a double feature of King Of The Hill! One of the unfunniest comedys ever. Then they'll probably pre-empt the rerun of "Put Your Head On My Shoulder" in favor of "The World Blankiest Blanks".

It's sad how this episode has kind of been pre-empted twice, it should have already aired last year and now when it's finally due it gets pre-empted again! Just when I thought that FOX had made a sensible decision, the one brain cell which they share between them dies off and this happens.

The ultimate question to ask FOX is why is KOTH pre-empting Futurama when it got lower viewing figures than Futurama last sunday?

I didn't even know Fox had been claiming to air Futurama this weekend. Of course, I've spent the last two weeks refusing to refer to the show by name for fear of jinxing it, because if you're not lucky, Fox WILL find a way! It worked, too. If I may direct your attention a good ways down the page to the thread titled "Beat King of the Hill," it was explained that the extra KoTH episode is the one that was pre-empted earlier this season. Goodness knows they couldn't STAND to replace KoTH with any of the Futurama eps that get constantly run over, noooo. Anyway, also inspired by that thread I'm curious to see how it'll do without the loyal Futurama fanbase, especially the first ep which is in Futurama's normal timeslot. Make sure as few people as possible watch KoTH this weekend!

Gain their courage! Thier rich tasty courage! Seriously, I just hope a good network buys Futurama and shows it properly. Fox has treated it so badly I don't want them to "start treating it right". I want some other network like WB to get it and strike it rich with it.

I think the name of the episode Kif Gets Knocked up a Notch should be spoiler-ized. I read in the David X. Chohen interview abou somebody getting pregnant, but I didn't know who it was until I read that. Bah.

King Of The Hill is okay, but I have no idea why Fox heralds it as a more quality show than Futurama. Me thinks it's all because M.G. didn't create it. That's what me thinks.
