Yes!  But not just Katey; someone needs to thank them all for being as generous to the fans as they've been for so long now.

(Oh, and congratulations to the other 10 winners!)

JN, I expect you to snidely reference this film in your fanfic before the film makes it to the masses, understand?

When you go around talking about how you'd love to be in the same vicinity as Billy West so that you can "freak him out," then that's kind of how you're going to come across.

Save driving/flying/train riding, everyone!  I know LA traffic is a bitch.  Have fun, take pictures, and for the love of the almighty Hypnotoad bring back spoilers!  Lots and lots of spoilers....

(...and tag them, of course. ;p )

Well, I guess someone has to be first.

It was a wonderful experience, even though we got there a little late.  And even though it took four tries to get the movie working due to sound problems (I have the first two minutes of the movie memorized right now).  But when stalling for time, it helps to have a room full of comedians and voice actors.  DXC and Matt G and the entire crew are wonderful people.  I'll post some of my thoughts on the movie itself in the review thread.

Very tired, may edit and post more recollections later.

EDIT: Yeah Katey was there, but left soon after the movie ended.  My wife did get a chance to thank her though.

I've got some pics I'll post this weekend.  Unfortunately, the movie theater was really low light so can't get you pics of the actors standing on stage.

Katey Segal was there, just a few rows in front of us, actually.

I got a few pictures, mostly involving David Cohen and Billy West, both of whom were extremely friendly and willing to chat.  I'm sure others got some pics of different people.

It was quite an experience indeed, and I'll have more to say on the matter after I return from work and get some sleep.

For now, other highlights include the general 'chaos mode' as the movie failed to start, John Dimaggio giving the gotfuturama gang a shout out, and the open bar  :)

why aren't any of the winners mentioning the fact that the DVD was handed out at the exit as a favor with a Bender paper weight!??!! My hub and I got two!!  :D ALSO, it was not boring, it was totally entertaining, it gave the actors time to do Q&A and be hilarious! My hubby wubby is gonna post a review about the movie/experience later...  :D  *still excited*

I stand by that statement, except them getting the DVD isn't my main reason for envy - it's pretty much everything else they got to do/see that was amazing.

To the people who got to go:

You insufferable bastards, I hope you BURN!

Nah, that sounds like it was the coolest event ever. The most notable historic event since the signing of the Emancipation Proclaimation... probably even more notable.

Now it'll only be fifteen years until the DVD is released in Region 4. Wicked!

Great that this event was a success for everyone able to go. With luck, we can repeat things for the next movie. Hopefully with more advance notice this time so that people can decide if they want to go on a trip for this.

I didn't know they'd get a gift pack  :D Must have been a last minute descision. Here it is:

Hi, yes it has the extras and everything.

I feel very privileged to be one of the few lucky winners to not only view it on the big screen, but to go home with the DVD and collectible. Thanks again Marc & David Cohen!

That's me and JBERGES.

We rang up a $100 bar tab at a bar around the corner before the premiere.

Yeah, it was awesome, and the DVD extras are funny.  I haven't watched the commentary all the way through.  I just drove all the way back here from LA, so I'm too tired to comment further.

Hey SonicPanther, your icon looks like one of the gals who went to the premiere, but judging from your posts I don’t believe that was you. Speaking of attendees, where are all the pics from other cool cats who went?! Has anyone sent pictures to marc for Gotfuturama?

Eggs!  Glad you made it back OK.  Was dead at work on Friday, but I made it in on time.  Thanks for chauffering my lazy, non-stick driving ass around all day.

That $100 tab included a snack!  it was only $93 worth of liquor!
