Yup. Twas hard to grab images of both sides, though. The pokey eye one is really difficult to capture.
Anyone else have a retail copy, yet? The package is really nice.

I dislike those ratings options, the descriptions aren't necessary and slightly misrepresent what I feel the ratings should mean. and who ever heard of rating from 0-4, I know I can just pretend it's 1-5 but still. If I could, I'd give it a 4/5 for very good I thought the start was pretty weak, too many jokes that are just referencing classic moment without any sort of interesting twists, and for the equivalent of the first episode I was a little worried, but once the story really gets going it all gets so much better, brilliantly twisted and confusing, and it had me misty-eyed at points, and while it's not as funny as the funniest episodes of the series, I think the humour was maybe about the same as an average episode of the series, but I was so into the story I didn't really mind

I tend to agree with USS there. I'll try to discuss each aspect individually. Spoilers are used, but I'm pretty vague with plot points. This is a relatively safe read, that is to say. Humor: The humor level was typical Futurama. It was not up there with the best of the best all the time, but consistently entertaining. Yes, a few jokes flopped, but some were simply spot on. You'll also notice that some of the humor is a bit more PG-13, and the double entandres are off the charts. Science jokes were a bit lacking, but call-back and character humor were in full swing.
Plot: I'm a sucker for time loops. Loved everything to do with this. The beginning section, and Fry's nautical adventure were a bit weak, but I attribute some of that to the choppiness that comes along with a planned split. The twist at the end was in true Futurama style. Eggs said he had it figured out way early, and I caught on before the reveal. Still, it was cute and satisfying. Bender's twist after the twist was a nice set up for the sequel.
Ship Factor: If you get annoyed with Leela's personality when she's in 'love,' prepare to be irked for half the movie. While this behavior has precedent in the series, I'm positive many will be fed up with Leela's ditsy crushing by the time it becomes relevant to the plot. That said, the payoff for shippers will be doubly good because of it. For non shippers, you should at least appreciate how this subplot ties into the main plot, but I sense some reviews docking points for the drama. In the end, did I feel for the characters when I was supposed to? Yes, absolutely. Futurama has and continues to do well at that for a cartoon.
Nudity: How much ass and side-boob can the animators cram in? A lot, that's how much.
Music: Tyng's revamped theme harkens back to the show and to the video game, and I for one love it. We have two musical numbers in the movie, the first was a bit dull (see Leela's crushing) but the second was catchy and awesome.
Overall: I'm glad to see Futurama back; this did not disappoint. I give it an 8/10 or an A- for now, and we'll see how it holds up on rewatch. Regardless, can't wait for the next one. EDIT ______________

I love how everyone has been subtle and careful not to ruin the plot for anyone and then this guy casually, very Fry-like, reveals a MAJOR element of the movie. Spy, you've made my day.

First things first: God bless Sam the Record Man and their "Does Futurama: Bender's Big Score come out on Nov. 20th or 27th? Aw, hell, put it out there" attitude. Now then, I have to say, while I'm not disapointed, I'm not as over-the-moon as most of you seem to be. While the movie's consistantly entertaining, I didn't find it to be laugh-out-loud funny as often as I would have liked. Also, I found the design of the scammers too close to tht of shell-less Zoidberg to be really comfortable watching them. And maybe it's just the fact that I've seen the opening rant against "Box" network executives in the online promo about 20 times now waiting for this film, but I can barely get a chuckle out of it anymore. For the most part, though, it's a solid story with some decent gags, and any new Futurama is good for the world in general. I'd say more helpful things, but I'm too tired and lazy to write an in-depth analysis right now. 4/5

Anyone who downloads this movie is fine by me as long as they buy it as well. If they don't then fuck them they don't deserve to live in a world with Futurama. If people didn't buy the DVD's then knowone would be downloading this movie now because it wouldn't have even got made... IGN have reviewed the movie, mostly positive. Warning, there are pictures in this review... http://dvd.ign.com/articles/836/836327p1.html

So they crapped all over the 'Devil's Hands' episode. I more than half-way expected that. edit: I've ordered my copy fromAmazon but if it doesn't get here by Tuesday, then I'll get a copy from Wal-Mart @ 6 am 11/27. When the copy comes from amazon, I'll make it a X-Mas gift to a friend. So I will be buying two copies. I'll be doing my part to get more DVD's/episodes made in the future.

I saw it. I thought it started out kind of slow, but then by the last half the story really started to pick up. In fact I actually liked the first half better the second time I watched the movie. I also missed the live orchestra music But overall I liked the movie, I thought it was very good. 4/5
