Seems like as good a thread as any to ask this: In "The Deep South" when Bender makes his big fishhook, he uses Hermes "Manwhich" as bait. What is a Manwich? Just a silly name, or something punny?
I have a feeling I'm missing the joke regarding this "Manwich" thing.

Hermes is a grown man with a wife and kid(s?). Why would anyone care about his parents?

We haven't learned about Farnsworth's parents. Or Nibbler's parents.

The name of the episode is The Farnsworth Parabox? Is that what you are saying? the real word is paradox. par·a·dox n. 1 A seemingly contradictory statement that may nonetheless be true: the paradox that standing is more tiring than walking. 2 One exhibiting inexplicable or contradictory aspects. 3 An assertion that is essentially self-contradictory, though based on a valid deduction from acceptable premises. 4 A statement contrary to received opinion. Not saying he isn't related to Fry, but maybe he came from the other dimension and replaced the "real" farnsworth... the alternate dimension is exactly the same except everyone is a cowboy, right? So he would still be related to fry and alternate fry

A question of interpretation
In "Love and Rocket," when the ship said "You can play around with my buttons until you find something we both enjoy," was she basically saying "You can play around with my boobs until you find something we both enjoy?"
