Hmm, yeah, this thread might spill over into another one.

CoTH-
A Nixon-rich episode.

Turtle = adorable

And the windmills line is awesome.

Speaking of windmills and the way the work:

Quote
This is one of Altador's oldest farms, owned by Farmer Follies and his family.

Farmer Follies eyes you as you approach. "Well howdy there," he says. "You're from the city, eh? I've got a ninth cousin there, works as a janitor, maybe you know him."

Once there, click on the lever highlighted below.

This old windmill is how Farmer Follies turns wheat into grain.

You should now click on the window highlighted below.

You try to force the windmill's blades to turn, in an attempt to blow excess wheat away from the field.

Farmer Follies runs into the windmill, shouting at you. "WINDMILLS DO NOT WORK THAT WAY!" He slaps your hand away from the windmill machinery.

Futurama? In my Neopets? It's more likely than you think.

Or nine, depending when this one ends.

Xanfor thats a decent idea

if everyone agrees, I will start the new thread tomorrow calling it 10 DAYS!!! since tomorrow it will be 10 days, I will request this closed (Not now of course) and start the new one, if you agree plz state it, also I may seem like an attention whore agian but PLEASE don't start the new one I really want to, because it is in a way special to me since this is my first topic where it was actually popular and had to close due to too many pages

P.S. I was watching the commentary for "Thats Lobstertainment" and they were talking about gotfuturama.com, it was SOOO SHOCKING, I know its old news but it's new to me. They talked about how gotfuturama.com has ratings of each episode and that "thats lobstertainment" had a bad rating, they then talked about a guy who always said he HATED this episode and he bashed it, so I think it was Cohen, or Groening who emailed him and he said to them that he actually thought it was an ok episode. He should have stated why he hated it and not act like a pussy and say he liked it just because he was talking to the producer.

Haha!  I still have my book.

*cough* On-topic: I've never seen An Inconvenient Truth before, so I have to ask: how much of this episode is actually in the movie?

I've seen the first half of the movie. They never once shown the regular crew, just the video that they were shown about global warming.

Trickster, you're supposed to wait until the thread reaches page 20 to make a new thread. At least that's the rules here.

Your right it was DXC.

I love so many things about this episode. The headless body of Spiro T Agnew and the fact that the wizard it Tim from "Monty Python and the Holy Grail." Not to mention the Hedonismbot thing:

Bender: "Look, I love life and its pleasures as much as anyone here. Except perhaps you, Hedonismbot. But we need to be shut off! Especially you, Hedonismbot!"
Hedonismbot: "I apologize for nothing!"

And of course:

Fry: "This world wasn't good enough for you."
Bender: "Not even close."

I want something like that on my tombstone.

Was that really the Wizard Tim from the Grail?  I always thought that wizard character was a Groening nod to Dungeons & Dragons nerds...

I liked how Fry and Leela dating was a given, no explanation needed.

They obviously knew I was watching.

Also, "No beer until you've finished your tequila!"

Why did they not stay dating when they became adults, it when from dating as teens to nothing as adults, it makes no sense

I think Leela was more uninhibited as a teenager; she didn't feel she had as much to lose by going out on a date with him. She didn't view it as as much of a risk.

Yes that makes sense. Definatly the boost on the waste is disgusting. "When I grow up I wanna be a steam shovel." So cute.

I love all the stages Zoidberg goes through as he's getting younger (cuttlefish, Trilobyte, clam, lamprey, anglerfish, sea urchin, octopus, coral).

Also, it has some great dialog...

Alien: "Hi, I'm Heather, your personal youthisizer.  Let's get started with a nice botulism treatment, shall we?"

Farnsworth: "GO TO HELL, HEATHER!"

Same. This is definatly a good Farnsworth episode. Also what is with Farnsie and thongs or being naked?

Agreed Kryten.

"With my last breath, I curse Zoidberg".

Classic.

Notice how Fry and Leela stare at each other when she says she's happy with her life.  Forshadowing The Why In Fry.

As a new name I suggest: "The resurection is at hand! Repent! Repent!"

I'm gonna agree with the crowd about how great the tequila and date things are. Also gotta love the Professor's senility.

Professor: "Hello, Mavis! Surprised to see me back again so soon?"
Waitress: "Mavis is dead!"

and

Waitress: "Sir, this card has expired."
Professor: "But it's good for a lifetime."
Waitress: "Well, yours expired."
