^^ Sometimes I get the feeling that Beck does that even in the studio.

Yeah, I never quite got the humour in this episode, and the plot was weak. Maybe it was supposed to be gloriously random, just like Beck. Still, the "You, minion, raise my arm" joke cracked me up

Speaking of AOI, if a new series does eventuate after the DVD movies are released and televised, I'd like to see an AOI3 focusing on other characters. Amy, Zoidberg and Hermes haven't had a turn yet.

Ok, going with the correct episode for the day (TKOS). I love the Fry/Leela stuuf except for the end where Leela blows up Fry's love note. It depresses me to no end. I really like this eposde some happy parts, some sad parts, some in between parts. I love that Fry and Leela get married I hate that Leela divorces Fry when she doesn't even try to work things out her mind just jumps right to the worst thing. She should know that Fry would never do something like that to her she means to much to him. More when I watch the episode when finished with homework.

TKOS was a good episode.  Very sad ending.  This episode and the next doesn't end very well for Fry.

I'm surprised that Leela turned to Zoidberg for advice instead of Amy--Girl talk and since Amy dated Fry--but Zoidberg's response was funny.

Why would Bender be in position to have Fry's jet melt his face?  It looked like he was trying to stare at Fry's ass.

Yeah I always yell at the TV during the ending. It makes me feel sad.

I never figured that out it's kinda odd. I love how Zoidberg cries because he's lonley then bounces back and is like "What were you saying?"

Possibly some pictures for extortion. I don't know. Bender tends to do odd things. Bender was floating around gathering chronitons in his mouth so he might just have gotten careless and got too close to Fry's jet pack.

Zoidberg: He looks radiant!

That's so random. Also this epsiode has one of my favorite things to say in everyday conversations. "Too late hot plate." It's fun to say.

Love this one! I wish they kept in the deleted scenes.

Zoidberg: Do you love me?
Leela: No!
*Zoidberg stares at her, then turns on TV*

I love how the basketball spins on the professor's head for like five minutes. I also like how the professor's evil works (ie: the atomic mutants and the doomsday devices) are not only shown for the first time but are also part of the episode. I always think they never enough of the professor's mad scientist side.

My original favorite episode. That is, it was my favorite when I had seen about half or a little more than half of them, and it still ranks right up there. To me it's pretty hard to beat this one.
This episode has a great mix of everything: funny, shippy, sciencey stuff, and the brilliant plot with the time skips allowed for more to happen - or for the episode to somehow seem longer - within the same amount of time. Just overall fantastic. I've heard a lot of people are disturbed by the ending, but I never quite understood it - in my opinion it's just another saddish, well-done ending in the tradition of ABBFT or LOTF.

The only ones named in the episode were Growtrian (the stretchy one), Thorias (the guy with a cannon in his chest) and Arachnion (the spider).

Could you blame her, after Fry's clumsy attempts at fooling her (like the time-proof shelter?) Also, remember this episode is pre-Leela's Homeworld, so she still believes that everyone who was close abandoned her.

Ah, good one for the shippy thread! And yeah, the deleted scenes are hilarious!

This episode his heavy on costume changes for Leela - in the park (very feminine), at the game (wow!) and the wedding (yowza!)

I liked the science-fictiony music when the Globetrotters land.

"Your face can take a lot of punishment, that's good to know" - is Leela into BDSM now?  ;)

I actually liked this episode, mainly because I love futurama and Lucy Liu, I didn't like Fry's makeout Lucy Liu but I liked Lucy's head, and her sexy assasin.

I like the video. Also Zapp needed more lines in this episode than just "That's one wave of destruction thats easy on the eyes." This would have been a great episode to have more Zapp in. That's all for now, school I can't wait for the planetarium show in physics, we get to lie around in sleeping bags  :flirt:  for like 3 periods.  :D

thanks.  I wish the other two were identified.

Like I said about IDAR, it's disappointing to see it end badly for Fry just like in TKOS.  Bender's Archie impersonation was funny.

They are all named in the commentary.

IDAR has the best beginning in the series. From every good episode of the Twilight Zone compresed intp thirty seconds to the giant ball of light. Or my personal favorite:

Leela: "Hey, you know what might be a hoot?"
Farnsworth: "No. Why would I know that?"
Leela: "Let's take the rest of the morning off and take Fry to do everything he ever wanted to do."
Fry: (sexfully) "Everything?"
Leela: "Except that."

That one always has me laughing my ass off. Just the way she says it is perfect.

For a celebrity-focused episode, this wasn't so bad. Better than BITW, at least. That one moment in the movie where a vampire with a bomb strapped to his chest comes out of his coffin, says "BLAH!" and explodes, is one of the funniest non-sequitirs I've ever seen.

Nice little detail - Liu-bot's pupils are square. Monroe-bot's corpse-gray skin is kinda creepy...

Yeah, the episode is a little lame, but the Cygnoids are great.  I especially like what one cygnoid says as he steps up to the plate after seeing his brothers beaned by Leela:  "Please, lady, I want to live..."

That reminds me of an MST3K-type moment.

ALoHO - one of the worst episodes along with Cryonic Woman. Probably the best part in this episode is the beginning at the pizza place, with the menu and the "food" the Cygnoids serve Fry and Leela. I love the description of the different types of ingredients they have, and when Fry asks, "Do you have any food?"

Mediocre, but far from the worst, even though I hated the ending. Jesus people, you think the end of Time Keeps On Slippin' is despressing? The message at the end of this episode is "Leela really sucks and completely failed, and everyone knows it. But that's okay. Sometimes it's good to suck!"  QWhat the hell?!

I love what km73 and when Fry is teaching the Cygnoids how to make pizza when his his restauraunt was disgusting. Sorry, I took so long to respond more I was in NNYC for the day so I haven't even watched the episode yet. I'll do it tomorrow.

[Bender throws some flowers off the coffin and walks out. The flowers land on Farnsworth's lap.]
Amy: I know whose funeral we'll be attending next!
Farnsworth: (bashful) Oh, stop!
I love the Proffesor's rection to that. I think that in the 31st century funerals are the new weddings. Throwing the bouquet to detremine who's next.

Bender: Afterlife? Pft. If I thought I had to go through a whole other life I'd kill myself right now.

First time I saw this episode I didn't get that line but then I slowly dawned on me. Then all of the sudden it's like oh... duh he'd want to get to that other life quicker.  I'm quick huh?

I hated, hated, HATED this episode. I know Bender's supposed to be a jerk, but he really went overboard this time, and there was no relief from it because he was the whole focus of the episode. By the end, I was actually rooting for him to be blown up.

Yeah. The only reason why I don't like the episode is that Bender is so much more of a jerk than he normally is. Why was that? I didn't want him to be blown up but I definatly wanted something bad to happen to him.
