Just saw A Flight to Remember.  I can't but think wasn't there an extended scene where we saw Zoidberg's fountain bed more closely, during the scene in the Professor's state room?

The dinner scene was funny. It's almost as if Zapp was smart to suspect Fry and Leele were pretending to be engaged. 

This episode made me realize how I really don't like Kif or his relationship with Amy.  Kif didn't do anything when Zapp stirred the ship into the black hole. At this point in the series, Amy's too good for Kif.

I just bought Futurama Volume 4 yesterday!  ^_^

Hehe, I just had to get it.  I looked at the special features and was like, "OMG! I need this now!".  XD


The funny thing is, last week I recently bought Futurama Volume 1. 

So when I went back to my local DVD store yesterday, I was looking for the 2nd and 3rd box sets but they didn't have them in stock.  They did have Volume 4, so I just figured I would buy that set instead (even though it's out of order).  XD

It's a good thing I got that one, since it has my top-favorite episode, "The Why of Fry".  ^_^

When Aliens Attack--in my opinion this would be a good episode to use to introduce people to Futurama, which never gets mentioned on those types of lists, because it's very funny, it's about something that everyone can relate to (the whole TV thing), and you don't really need to have seen other episodes to understand most of it.

I love When Aliens Attack. It's one of my faves. I love Lrrr he's the bestest alien. I agree that it is a good way to introduce people to Futurama because you don't really need to explain stuff in it.

I love how in F&TSF Fry keeps drinking the Slurm even as he sees how it's made. He does it like 4 times only stopping when Leela knocked it out of his hand after the 4th time. When ever I get tot eh part in the episode when Fry is drinking the super concentrated Slurm when his tear drops in to the Slurm I always expect the Slurm to turn bad. I can't figure out why though. It happens every time I watch that episode. Does that happee to any one else or is it just me?

Hehe, yeah.  It's funny how he was trying to fit himself through that gate, just to get the Slurm.  XD 

Fry:  "I could fit if I didn't have these dang arms!"   

And then he proceeds to chew on his arms.  LOL.  XD

Hmm...

You know, I never thought about that before.  But you're right.  You'd think Fry's tears would mess up the Slurm or something.


But anyway, that's actually my favorite scene from Fry and the Slurm Factory.  ^^

Aww, Fry shed some tears there.  It's sweet how he really cares about his friends, and he didn't want them to get harmed or die.

The part in BBA with the gravity always cracks me up. Especially the scene where they first come out of the ship, and when Fry sticks out his tongue and the rain slams into him.
Also, Kif's expression when Hattie motions to him is priceless.

I know this is going to sound stupid and is probably something me as a Sr. in HS should have learned in US history and gov't in my Jr. year but what's the deal with Nixon being evil? I thought he ended the Vietnam war. Can some one explain. My US history and gov't course had to be spead up due to my section of the school's trips and projects. So we didn't really cover everything. This question is probably in the wrong place but I just watched AHITP and we're sorta talking about it, so I figured why not.

He used illegal campaign funds, covered up the break-in to the Democratic headquarters at Watergate, lied about it, lied about our actions in Vietnam too (although so did JFK and LBJ), and was an all-around unpleasantly characterized fellow. Was he an effective President? Possibly, but he was most definitely unscrupulous in his means.
