Like I said in another post, it's about time the followed up on the Kif/Amy relationship. I was almost afraid they'd air 4ACV01 "Kif Gets Knocked Up a Notch" before this one.

Anywho, happy b-day Shadowstar.

Happy Birthday Shadowstar  :)

It sounds like a good episode, sadly I haven't seen the one where Amy and Kif get together yet.

Thank god thay are showing this episode before "Kif gets Knocked up a notch", I was worried they would mess up this storyline aswell as Dwight's but luckily they've actually made a sensible decision.

We have seen Zapp since "Amazon Women in the Mood" but not very much. The most recent episode he was in is "I Dated a Robot" when he made a very brief appearance   :)

edit-would you believe it, VelourFog posted at the same time as me, within a minute.

Kif tries to impress Amy's parents? Hmm, last time I saw them they acted kinda 'iffy'. Can't wait to see how that wraps up.

And happy birthday, Shadowstar!

It's in Chapter 3 of Can't Get Enough Futurama's war. Scroll down to "The olive branch?" Or did I read that incorrectly?

If they do move it to Thursday, they're patronizing us into ignoring their idiocy, nothing more.

And let us not forget, Thursday is a crappy slot too. Some would argue that due to the competition it's the only slot crappier than the current one.

Not this thursday, but next thursday (the 28th) they will be showing "put your head on my shoulder" which we all know is a repeat. Survivor 4 also happens to be starting that night, over on CBS at 8.

There's a Survivor 4 now?  Christ, is this shitty wave of reality TV over yet?  I thought almost no one watched the last one.

Why are they playing a two year old episode when they could get another "new" one out of the way, since they are backlogged anyway?

Wait, am I trying to use logic with Fox?

Actually I think a thursday night timeslot would be good at this point. I think now is the time to try to put on good shows to compete with Survivor and Friends.

Friends has been shitty for quite a while(well I guess it was always shitty, but god it gets worse and worse every season...somewhere there has to be a breaking point where people just stop watching, and I think that time is soon).

I actually kinda like Survivor, but damn, why are they putting the 4th one on so soon? Give us some time to recover from the 3rd one, at least. I don't think people want to watch another entire season of that show so soon after the last one.

I'm not saying a new FOX thursday night lineup would beat both shows immediately, but if they put on good/popular shows(Futurama, Simpsons and Malcolm reruns), give it some time and promote the hell out of it, it could be successful. Friends and Survivor are both beatable, I think.

See, that sounds like a good plan, but instead they'll probably have the show lead in with "World's Funniest Dog Tricks" and "Grandma and the Broken Hip Fairy".

actually Friends is getting it's higest ratings ever.  Crazy huh?  And the actors just signed on for $1million (each) an episode next season.

but i agree, the show sucks and is even suckier lately.  I also enjoy Survivor (sorry) but I agree that this new "season" seems a little premature.

But you guys know Fox.  Why would they do something if they couldn't do it half assed?

*grumble* lousy facts. Even still, the show can't last TOO much longer, can it? This season will probably(hopefully) be the last, so if I were a fancy executive guy I'd try to build up a lasting thursday night lineup that everyone can flock to when Friends goes off the air. "Might as well see" TV, or something.

I think I recall reading that since the cast of Friends got the 1 million an episode, now they are going to do another season after this one.

I can understand the appeal of Survivor, it's at least something original, just not my cup of tea.  I think the horrible influx of "reality shows" based on that show's popularity helped my opinion as well.

D'oh. By "this season" I meant "this upcoming season that they just got contracted a million dollars per episode for".

Get this, in the UK about 8 seasons of Friends have been released on DVD and they cost about £80:00 each!, about $130:00! What makes it worse is that I know someone who has started to buy them and plans to get all of them. No wonder they can afford to pay the actors a million each. Personally I don't mind the show during the first 4 seasons but I was never a huge fan.

Another thing that bugs me is that already 8 seasons of Friends have been put onto DVD but there is 11 seasons of The Simpsons sitting on the shelf waiting to be put onto DVD and Season Two of Futurama.
