Hiya, new boy here *waves in a friendly but slightly nervous fashion*

I've looked back to make sure this subject hasn't been done before.... and I think it has, so I've tried to make this one a little bit different, hehe.  Forgive me if I'm making you all repeat yourselves *blush*

Me top 5 Futurama audio commentary moments are....

1.  the "Gay Guy and the Ghost" annecdote by writer Mike Rowe on the episode "Bend Her".  Rather bizarre but also hilarious.  I think John and Billy try to audiotion for the possible spin-off right there and then, LOL.

2.  Eric Kaplan's slightly surreal comment on "I Dated A Robot".... "Madeline Albright, who's head has been floating in formaldehyde for a thousand years, sees the opportunity to have sex with a strange nerd in a new robot body and seizes it, as we all know she would".  I always giggle when I hear that  :)

3.  John DiMaggio and Rich Moore annoying the rest of the room by making "BOUM!!" and "UH OH" noises during "Spanish Fry".  I love how these two guys get on.  By the last commentary recording they're clearly happy to cause a little chaos  :)

4.  Ken Keelers reaction (during the extra writers commentary over "Jurrasic Bark" ) to David X Cohen claiming that the writers always had 3 weeks to write the first draft of a script.  His gasp can only be described as "girly", hehe

5.  Susie Dietter realising that she's immitated her mother for the second time on the commentaries during "Godfellas" (the first time being, I think, on "A Big Piece of Garbage".... but feel free to correct me).  She's reassured that the dvd can only play in Japan, erm..... lmao

....howz aboutz ya good selvez?  :)

Welcome, Dolomite. PEEL already has a thread about the best moments in the audio commentaries here  http://www.peelified.com/cgi-bin/Futurama/15-000178-1.  Good choices, by the way. I definitely agree with your #1.

Eek, thought so *blush*.  Ah well, I guess any fellow newbies might need some relief on the subject in the form of a new thread    :)  But will understand if u wanna delete it.

Maybe I should do a Top 5 Least Favourite Audio Commentary Moments, lol.  Including John DiMaggion getting in a mood on "That's Lobstertainment" over the LA subway issue;  Matt Groening almost losing his temper when Rich Moore calls him up on how much money he makes over the series ("Don't jump!!" );  Patric Verone putting down the Simpsons commentaries due to the makers laughing at their own work (I personally like it when they do that); and poor old Rich choking on some chips, hehe.
