Does this game actually have any rules or purpose anymore? I know I'm out because I couldn't come up with a phrase.... but it seems like we're just playing 'Who Can Make Up a Word That Starts With a Letter' game.... I'm pretty sure we've already used responses multiple times (Which in The Ministers Cat would make you out).
Also, the letter is switched arbitrarily.... these game might work better if you went an alterated ruleset.... such as the first person starts off with the letter A, then the next person with the letter B, then C, so on and so forth.... if someone can't think of the word for the next letter for.... say a week (or some other period of time) then the next person gets to make up another Futurama sentence.
Also, it'd work better if people weren't just picking random words, bu8t instead using ones that actually make sense in the show's context. Not to attack or belittle Iron Maiden, but for the sake of example.... How exactly is Futurama an Iron Maiden show?
So I propose these new rules:
A) Put the rules at the beginning of the thread (this is a sequel thread, and I couldn't find the rules....), you obviously can't fix this now, but for future reference.
B) Instead of arbitrarily changing the letter at random intervals, change the letter with each person.
C) Change the sentence (has to be about Futurama) when: a) Nobody can think of a suitable answer for the next turn in (maybe a week?) b) Somebody gives an answer that isn't contextually related to Futurama and the person can't give a reasonable explanation to tie it to Futurama.
D) If you adopt these rules, perhaps somebody can make a wikipeelia page for it. Then just link to that for what I said in point A. Then new people can learn about our community, and the rules are clear and distinct.
In conclusion.... I believe if these changes were adopted, the game would make more sense, and furthermore be more enjoyable for all.
