No, we're not messed up, we just know what works, and we refuse to knuckle under to those europeans strange ways.  We're very disappointed in Aussies using those French measurement systems, which is why Australia is the next country we'll declare war on & invade...

Note: Before an all out war erupts on PEEL, this is extreme sarcasm, just to tweak your nose.  Just like in the South Park movie, where America declared war on Canada, it's just silly talk...

Off topic: Why all the hate we're all human beings after all. If we all did things the same life would be boring and this conversation wouldn't even exist! Don't forget that Earth has two hemispheres not one! Just because I live in the UK dosn't mean that I am any better a person than somebody in Australia, South Africa or anybody else for that matter. Also if you want confusing measurements try living in England!!! We use metric for temperature (Celsius), mostly use imperial for weight (lbs, onuces) although stupid European law states we have to show metric as well, imperial for speed (miles per hour) and metric for meaurement of appliances (centimetres, metres). At least in the USA and the rest of Europe you use one or the other!!!!

Who's hating?  I'm just having fun with x.Bianca.x, and she's flipping it back at me, at my expense.  If we didn't at least bust chops every now & then on this website, it would be a very boring place indeed.  Besides, how could anyone think someone saying Australia is the next country the US plans to invade is being serious?  CMMONNNNNNNNNNNNNN!

Thank goodness for that I can wait 6 days after the US release, not the 6 MONTHS that we had to wait for BBS (although I did import it and bought the UK version as well).

Still can't wait 6 days, I'm getting both versions again. Last time I got the American version a few days before American release date even living in England. I'm banking on getting it 10 days before English release a few before American release to make it more worthwhile...

Look at it this way, I'm supporting the show twice as much and slightly increasing the chances of Futurama after the 4 movies...

You thinks six days is bad. I leave for Germany on the 23rd so unless my pre-ordered DVD comes before the official release date I'm royally boned. I'll have to wait till I get back two weeks later.

Now what the hell am I supposed to do on the plane for nine hours if I can't watch BWABB over and over?

me and my friend communicate by insults all the time, and once i got a classic joke after she swore at me-fun!


But staying on the topic, in australia, all dvds like this come out on thursday. I doubt that BWBB will come out on exactly the same day in england, australia and usa.
For one there is time difference. My cousins went to usa last year, about the time where the simpsons movie came out and they told us WE were lucky because we saw it before them. If the countries got it at the same time, england or australia will get it hours before america.
It will come out first in america definetely, then hopefully england and australia will get it not long after. But for me, fingers crossed it will be same date!

If anyone is interested, today marks 72 days until Beast With A Billion Backs is released.  That means that anyone who plans to watch an episode a day until the release needs to start today with Space Pilot 3000. (If you do this, you'll have to watch Bender's Big Score on the day that BWABB gets released)

I was a bit lazy when BBS came out. I watched the animatic of space pilot 3000, then I watched the devils hands are idle playthings.
But I had a marathon 2 weeks ago so it works out fine, i think.

Don't know yet, but he manipulates Fry as a spritual leader, sends all the humans on Earth to "Heaven". Sounds more like a cult controlling every aspect of a person's life. Making love may just be the start of a total take over.

My theory is that Fry's girlfriend is either controlled by or some form of the beast. Yivo if I'm not mistaken. Fits with the girl haveing like seven boyfriends and the beast wanting to do everybody.

Back a year ago when the Comic Con exclusive comic leaked onto the internet (props to JustNibblin' and others), we saw previews of the first three movies. The preview for "The Beast with a Billion Backs" (shown below) includes some intriguing details. Back when that comic was released, I speculated about the initials on Bender's robe, which is the letters "LR".



Several weeks ago, after watching the preview of "The Beast with a Billion Backs" on YouTube for the seven-something billionth time, I finally found another detail giving us what the initials are for.



Look on the banners that the robots are holding up in the background. They too have the same "LR" initials. From what we can assume, "LR" probably stands for the name of the Robot civilization. Though this fact may not have any importance, it's just something I kind of wanted to point out.

By the way, did most of you see this drawing in production for "The Beast of a Billion Backs"?



As soon as I get more time available in my schedule, I'll try to come back here and give some theories on "The Beast with a Billion Backs".

I know I've definitely seen that drawing before, along with several others..it was... on some website somewhere? Well, obviously; but I can't quite remember where.
Must have seen it shortly after BBS came out.
