Hello!

I´m going to write my diploma thesis about futurama and the simpsons.
I want to compare both tv-series and come to a conclusion why the sipmsons still are successful and futurama not.

Can anybody help me with finding some books about futurama or maybe the simpsons too?
The books should be written from an economic point of view.

Unfortunately here in germany is not very much to find about futurama.

Best regards

Honestly, I don't think there are any books about Futurama.  Futurama has only been around for about seven years, whereas the Simpsons are much older.  Futurama was never officially "cancelled."  Fox didn't order the next season, so the production of Futurama was halted.  Also, if this helps with your thesis, there are going to be Futurama movies.  This thread has all that we know on that subject.  Basically, Fox wants Groening to make 4 Futurama movies, then remake them into four episodes each.  The movies will be a straight to DVD release, and the episodes will be able to stand on their own.
If I'm missing any facts or have gotten anything wrong, someone else can correct me or add more.
Welcome to PEEL.
