Yeah, I wasn't able to sit theough all of it from beginning to end either. Found myself drifting towards my Sudoku magazine.

Still, I prefer it to "Tim & Eric".

Reality TV isn't remotely close to reality, it's just something cheap and mindless that the TV folk can churn out without having to think of a compelling premise or plot.

TV Person #1: "Hey, why don't we just get a bunch of stereotypical people off the street and have them bicker with each other and just... y'know... film it."

TV Person #2: "That's GREAT! We wouldn't have to think of anything original! But would people even watch it...?"

TV Person #1: "They would if it's the only thing on!"

uh, i haven't seen the 22 minutes of hypnotoad, mostly because i don't have the dvd. but can anyone tell me what it's about?
is it just starring at that frog for 22 minutes straight, 'cause that just seems like poor television.

btw, if i do get one of those tv's that can broadcast hypnotic waves, is the show better or just the same?? also, where can i get one of those?

I fast forwarded, but I love the idea of inviting friends over and saying "Hey we are gonna watch this awesome show - It's my favorite!" and then sitting there for 22 minutes straight faced while they freak out. I don't think I could go that long without breaking character though  :(

I'm gonna try that sometime! And I know I could do it too.  :D Thanks for the idea.

I'm proud to say I watched it again and I didn't fastforeward it makes good background noise.

What a grand and annoying idea! That's one way to clear out a reception party! Use something monotonous and hated by non Futurama nerds.

I watched the whole thing right through, it was pretty good. Some weird and therefor great moments too. What was up with that trapeze factory hallucination thing. and I almost had a heart attack when it zoomed in to his eyes near the end. I would have liked more commercials though.

I haven't seen it yet, although I do look forward to it.  I'm sure it has a good atmospheric feel to have around the home as Bendersfan1221 suggested.

Then again, I've been known to keep an old television set on in the hallway and sit there intensely focused on the static late hours into the night while people sleep.

I love watching static on TV!

When I went backthrough my notes that I rewrote during Hypnotoad I noticed that I had a ton of spelling errors. My theory: Hypnotoad makes you spell bad.

I saw the 22 minutes of Hypnotoad on my BBS DVD.  I usually fast forward it, and I watch the commercials and Morbo's big news announcement.

Other than the commercials, the Everybody Loves Hypnotoad was a little pointless.
