22 minutes XD. Sounds great doesn't it? They're gonna put it on one of the movie DVDs I think... but I also reckon they'll include special things that the hypnotoad will do, otherwise it'd get boring .

Too bad you're not a mod, isn't it?
Since this thread is the first new thread that isn't some half-baked retread game that can actually support discussion, and hasn't been beaten to death, I'm inclined to leave it open.
Not to mention it's enough of a pain in the ass as is to find actual news in that thread with all the inane babble WITHOUT adding a whole other conversation to it.
Personally, this is how I picture Everybody Loves Hypnotoad, made watchable for primitive 20th century tv sets that don't broadcast mind-controlling hypnotic waves:
Uptight Roommate: Who filled the living room with stagnant pond water and swamp insects? Wacky Sidekick, was it you? Wacky Sidekick: No way, dude! It was Hypnotoad that did it, fo' sheezy! Uptight Roommate: Hypnotoad, is that true? Hypnotoad: ::BZBZBZBZBZBZBZBZBZBZBZBZBZBZB ZBZB:: Uptight Roommate: THANK YOU FOR SUCH A WONDERFUL IDEA, I LOVE IT. ALL GLORY TO THE HYPNOTOAD. Hypnotoad: ::BZBZBZBZBZBZBZBZBZBZBZBZBZBZB ZBZB:: Uptight Roommate and Wacky Sidekick: SPLASH SPLASH SPLASH.

Yes I live to not suck another day. To quote Bender "OH MY GOD." Well, we never thought we'd see the day. Just kidding.

When I first heard of this, I thought it was an incredibly cheap gimmick, albeit a humorous one. I'm not to inclined to change my perspective on the matter, however, seeing the popular posture in such dissimilar position to my own, I am inclined to merely leave my mind open just enough to bother to wait for further developments. But not enough that my brain falls out.

[monotone] I agree. Death to the non-believer. All glory to the Hypnotoad. [/monotone]
I noticed that the house in the beginning of "Everybody Loves Hypnotoad" is a futurized verion of the house from "Everybody Loves Raymond". It's even shown from the same angle. Hilarious!

It is nothing to be concerned about. I for one found this episode highly entertaining, with an insightful look into the Hypnotoad's backstory. All glory to the Hypnotoad.[/monotone]

I liked it but the weird thing is I only remember watching the bit where it shows us a preview of the next episode. I try watch all of them but that's all I ever get to. If you've watched it and you don't know what I mean, watch it again but listen closely to the guy at the end.

Sounds amusing! Can't wait for the DVD to be released in Australia! What are the other extras on the DVD like?

I sat and watched the whole thing without forwarding once. It was painful, a few times my eyes started wandering from the screen and I had to suddenly look back at the screen again...

It's certainly different this futuristic television. Still, it's a step up from Reality TV...
