Hi there this is my first post and i am a huge futurama fan and I wanted to ask this question or a make a point really lol.It seems to me that the writers are Rush fans on Futurama I heard a few remarks, some lines and subtitle gag in the begining of the show.i just thought it was cool cause I am a huge music lover and fururama pokes fun at alot of pop culture music.Anyone else think so?Also i love the scene in "Luck of The Fryish" when Bender holds up "sports" by Huey Lewis and the News. This show i love it but my fav epsidoe is "Amazon Women in The Mood".thanks for reading I look forward to meeting some cool people here

Welcome aboard.  I, myself have noticed the Rush references.  I love the pop culture jokes on the show.  You will find a lot of fans here.  Amazon Women In the Mood was my favorite episode as well.

We all hope you enjoy your stay here.

Welcome to PEEL, basqu2112. I liked "Luck" and "Amazon" as well. Here's a link to the PEELer's FAQ, which you should read to learn a thing or two about the community here. One thing in particular is that we don't like "Hi I'm New" kinds of threads because they get spammy after a while, so don't take it personal if this thread gets closed.

Once again, welcome to the community, and enjoy your stay.
