Because there's no "Scruffy" of the catering world to look up to and emulate.

no one in england talks like they do in american shows(maybe a few snobs). nor do they all have hideous disformed teeth as portrayed in family guy and the simpsons.

Yeah, like remember the Simpsons where they come over to England and everyone has the accents and there is a guy with tea in his suitcase and Mary Poppins flying everywhere, obviously made to be funny but still continuing an extreme steriotype which isn't really valid anymore...

Woah! First off, Scruffy may be the most talented janitor in the year 3000 and any time before or after! Did you see the skill with which he flips through Zero-G Juggs and eats potato chips?

Second, Bender's no caterer. He's a cook. He likes to cook his disgusting food only for his friends (and Zoidberg).

lol - in that enland ep of simpsons i was getting sick of hearing those voices. TV shows also portray every-one with a buttler and cane with a monocle ( sp  )

I'm actually a regular on AOL Simpsons message board, which is barely used nowadays...there are about 10 of us regulars. And as far as I know, it's the main Simpsons message board on the web (other than the one on the official site, of course, but that one's not even usable...so many kwyjibos).  :D

If you want to go to a good Simpsons message board www.nohomers.net

Now back to Futurama, VO would be cool because if you're good at that it can lead to other work, like commercials, movies, and other TV shows

I'd love to be a writer, or a voice-over actor. *Sighs* It'll never happen though.
