I spent a half-hour car ride with my parents this evening singing a medley of showtune-y songs, many of which were from Futurama. My mom requested my little brother and I "sing that song your grandma used to like"--the opera from "The Devil's Hands Are Idle Playthings."

I was a weird 12-year old and I am an even weirder 18-year old.

When you start having dreams like this.

Perhaps inspired by the on-topic discussion of the nature of time from the most recent episode, I had a dream in which totalnerduk linked to a page of partial scribbles and explanations (possibly on the PEEL wiki) to prove his argument, but this page linked to another very similar page, which linked to another similar page, and so on. I was frantically clicking through this convoluted database of supposed explanations and must have gone through hundreds of pages in rapid succession. I arrived finally at some sort of end point, but someone then posted another question and linked to a new scribbled explanation, which in turn demanded a new miserable session of confused link-clicking. I grew quite afraid that I wouldn't reach the end.

Dorky, but I was feeling all homesick and without my bearings, and making a Futurama-themed mirror gave me this warm and fuzzy feeling.
