Instead of complaining about the spammy noob, couldn't somebody have maybe reposted the last cryptogram, so the thread could continue? :P Here's the handy tool again...Solution to Lappy's last one: Hermes: Labor day? That phoney-baloney holiday crammed down our throats by fat-cat union gangsters?
Fry*: That's the one.
Hermes: Hot damn, a day off!
*I think that was a fry, might be wrong
And a new one, I'll keep it simple since the game's been dead a while... W'B EZAX YZOQ, XZV CZCUWS, WVTUVQZX ZR BX. BWPXZCYZVU, QYU OCXHE-ZV QZACUU HVN, ZR PZAXOU, QYU QUPYVZSZJE QZ LUUC YABHV YUHNO HSWTU WV DHXO.

Beta-testing a flash version of my tool... wow! crime-fighting. cool. you say you're a duo? yeah, duos are good. of course sometimes they're a little short-handed. see you. with two humans, you'd think there'd be a robot in there to balance things out but whatever. i have these three costumes you could use. but i guess i'll just throw one away. and a new one... ZK, XLXX! YKS CZEKIA AIFIFCIADVJ RVSEKDVJ? SZL'AI TLHE JZDVJ EZ XZAJIE DE XDWI HIUZVQH OREIA. That long one was actually a good stress-test, seems to work pretty well. For encryption, the new version is ready; the decryption tool needs some more tweaking but is usable. Gopher's Handy Tool ... in flash! The copy buttons in the new tool add quote or spoiler tags for you, ready to paste.

Listen to me, you pompous frauds. If I'm going down, I'm taking you all with me. IFM, PODFYX PFWCHOCHDCP VDTTJM K VHJTC, CGCU MD PKGC YJGCP? J UCCX TDHKY RFJXKUVC. ICUXCH? So, now I got a chance to try your new tool: Looks pretty nice, I especially like the highlighting of the corresponding letters if the mouse is over one. That's really useful, so I might start using it instead of wordpad to solve cryptograms. The interface is also the way I like it :-) However, if I may make one suggestion: It'd be a good idea to use another font (maybe one with serifs) for the solving stuff, since it's impossible to tell "l" and "I" from each other. But that's the only thing I've noticed so far.

:blows the dust off this old thread: "Oh, this is awful. Somewhere, there's a Bender that's more evil than me. I do my best, dammit!" -Bender

My old cryptogram tool was lost with the final death of Geocities. So alternatives: Paste and click to make a puzzle from a quote hereIf you want a tool to help you with solving them as well, I used this one to solve laptopmoerder's last puzzle.See the first post of the thread for a quick refresher of the rules/guidelines. New puzzle: VPS MRAS GWU NIPPH, ZIM SESTH GSSY NVT MSP HSWTU, PVM WU NIPPH.
:edit: hrm. I picked a quote from the new eps. So, very slight spoiler warnings.
