Obviously everyone here is privy to the information that we are going to be bless with at least 4 Futurama movies, but here is the question.  Why were they elected to be DVD movies and not Cinema movies.

Now I'm not one to look a gift horse in the mouth, and any news of new Futurama gets me as giddy as giddy can be, but don't you think that at least one of the planned 90 minute movies could be given a bigger budget and pushed to the big screen.  I know I would be first in line to see it.  I would almost think that the 4th one would be the ideal movie to put on the silver screen and give us fans a nice big "tie the loose ends blow out."

Also, 4 movies seems like a lot.  I had heard somewhere that Matt Groening always wanted to end the show with a three part movie deal.  With four movies I would hope that they don't cram too much into one film and too little into the other.

No need to make a new thread when we already have one.
