Hi I'm knew here, but the Zoidbergs, they are Jews, right?

Sorry, I meant, I'm NEW here, I dont know how to edit the title....anyway...

Is this just me thinking that all the Zoidbergs are awfully Jewish? I asked my friend and he is pretty sure they are supposed to be Jews too...anyone else have any ideas?

The Decapodians (the name for Zoidberg's species) indeed speak in a Yiddish accent (Yiddish is Yiddish for Jewish, so Yiddish accent means Jewish accent), but it is not out right said in the series or comics, to my knowledge, that Dr. Zoidberg is Jewish. The series does hint at it, with the accent, the -berg last name ending, and him once wearing a shirt having Slurm written in Hebrew.

Also, there is no way to edit the title of a thread after you've opened it, so get a good name for it. You can edit your own posts. The symbol is found at the bottom of your post and looks like this:


Also, don't be surprised that this thread will get closed. Most of the time, new threads by new members already have a thread about them or are easily answered. Use the search feature to make sure you're not making a thread that's already been open.
