A: Certainly not after 2088. In this year, a certain Swedish furniture company started to sell DIY radio, TV and computer equipment which did not comply with any of the CCITT's regulations or recommendations.
The Swedish government, however, did not take any legal actions against this company nor did it try to settle the dispute with the CCITT. Hence, sweden was suspended from the CCITT and the UN, as well as the Nobel Prize Committee. Today (3006) the only countries which do not have representatives in the CCITT and the Earth Givernment are Sweden, The Country of French Stereotypes, Nazi Planet Episode Country (formerly known as Germany) , Egylibalgesia and India.

A: Probably...hmmm, If people's eyes are genetically advanced to be 200% better at focusing and other eye uses, they could send out a frequency that your TV and your eyes pick up that enchances your HDTV experience...or something futuristic like that.
